Summary: Your the younger sister of Alec and Izzy and your older siblings along with Jace are really protective of you and don't really let you come on missions with them. You get into fights with them quite often because of it.

Y/N P.O.V.

"Please Alec" I whined at my older brother. "Y/N we've been over this already your not coming with us" "But why not I'm already sixteen I can take care of myself".

After I said that he just sighed and simply said "no". "Ugh" I angrily walked away from him.

I bumped into Jace and decided to give it a shot "Jace please convince Alec that I'm old enough to take care of myself and that I should come on a mission wiht you guys".

Jace sighed and said "Your just too young okay". "Why does everyone keep saying that!" I yelled. Jace just gave me a look that said 'Your not coming with us on the mission end of discussion'. I huffed and walked to my room slamming the door.

"Stupid Alec. Stupid Jace. Stupid mission. Stupid everything." I said while punching my pillow. Eventually I fell asleep while having a single tear running down my cheek.

~Time skip~

I woke up to someone lightly shaking me and saying "Y/N wake up". "5 more minutes" I turned around and tried to go back to sleep. the person waking me up chuckled and said "Come on wake up". "ugh fine".

I sat up opened my eyes and saw that it was Izzy who woke me up. "Izzy What do you want?" I sighed still tired. "Time for training" "Training for what excatly? It's not like any of you let me come on any missions so what's the point?!".

"Were only doing this to protect you" she said softly. "Protect me from what demons? vampires? Because I know I'm not worhty of being a shadowhunter but you have to let my try, I'm sixteen for christs sake!" I yelled.

"You know what just get out" I was getting really angry. "Y/N-" She started but I cut her off "I said GET OUT!". She left the room and I kept breathing heavily for a few minutes after my outburst.

Izzy P.O.V.

After what happened with Y/N in her room I was a little bit shocked. I never realised we made her feel she's not worthy to be a shadowhunter. I went looking for Alec and Jace because I really needed to talk to them about this.

When I found them they immediatly noticed something was wrong "Izzy are you okay? What happened?". They came closer to me while having worry written all over their face.

"I'm fine guys but I don't think Y/N is" "What do you mean?" they were confused. "Well when I woke her up this morning we endedd up having an argument" "An argument about what?" Jace asked.

"About her not being allowed to come on missions with us" "She needs to understand she's too young to come" Alec sighed. "I thought so too at first but she said she believes that she's not worthy of being a shadowhunter and that that's the reason we don't let her come on missions with us" when I said that Alec and Jace were shocked. "W-What" was all they were able to say.

"Yeah....I think maybe it's time for us to let her come on missions with us" I said softly. "I can't believe I'm saying this but I think your right" Alec says while Jace gives a hum off approval.

We walked up to Y/N's room and knocked. "go away" was her reply. We didn't listen and just opened the door. "Oh come on! Can't you just leave me alone" She yelled angry. "Y/n please hear us out" I begged her. She didn't give a response so Alec took that as a sign to start talking. "Y/N we're sorry we were too protective of you and made you feel like you were unworthy of being a shadowhunter. We were too scared that you'd get hurt. But e've talked about it and decided that you are skilled enough to go on missions with us and we should let you make your own mistakes".

"You'll really let me come on missions with you?" Y/N asked. "Yes we are sure" Jace replied. Y/N started smiling big and gave us a hug "Thank you guys, I love you".
