Rae POV

I left the club with the girls. They all kept bombing me with questions. "Who's was that guy?" "What's his name?" "Did you get his number?" Ugh give me a break that guy was too flirtatious, cocky, and *rubs arm* so damn hot but overall he seemed so arrogant *rolls eyes*

No, I didn't and I will never do so. If only you'd guys had seen how forward he was me. Sure, he was a gentleman, he ordered my drink and food but he striaghtforwadly asked me out on a date

Kaylee

And....what did you say?

They all eyed me.

What do you think? I said No.

Tasha

WHAT?!

What? I can tell he was so cocky and so full of himself. I loathe that in guy; he reminded of all the other guys I've encountered in my life

Crystal

Hey come on, you know the saying. Never Judge someone without getting to know them. If you see him again, just act cool and be yourself. Trust us, WE know you want to see him again *winks*

The girls smirked. I rubbed my arm because Crystal was right. I really did want to see him again. Question is, will I ever see him again?

Our apartment

We arrived at our apartment and immediately crashed into our bedrooms. I went out on the balcony again and looked out at the city. Crystal Queenwrites26 came out to check on me.

Hey, are you ok?

Rae

Couldn't sleep.

Crystal

Still, thinking about that guy?

Rae

Yeah...he's the owner of the club we attended. I still can't get his beautiful blue eyes out of my head. They were mesmerizing, HE was mesmerizing. I don't know what it is

Crystal

Well...you did win VIP passes so we could attend the club for free, etc. Maybe we could go again in a couple of weeks and see him again.

*thinking*

Rae

Perhaps another time, We just moved here. I'd say we explore the city, apply for our dream careers, and then...maybe I'll consider.

Crystal

No problem, know let's get some rest. All that dancing tired me out.

Meanwhile...

Matthew's Penthouse

Matthew's POV

*Matthew on his balcony thinking and smoking*

I can't believe I got rejected tonight. No chick has ever rejected me before. Throughout my life, I've always gotten women because I was rich, powerful, sexy, and handsome as f*ck. I'm not the kind of guy that does relationships, marriage, or any of the fairytale crap. But, with Rae it was different. She was different and I wasn't gonna let her slip away so easily. What I want I get.

The next morning...

Rae POV

We all got up, showered, ate, and each individually had plans. Tasha and Crystal had job interviews. Kaylee and I had ours tomorrow. Kaylee wasn't feeling well and I offered to run to the CVS to get her some medicine.

I left the apartment and headed to the nearest store. The city was certainly packed in the daylight. It's true as they say, it's the city that never sleeps. I finally found the CVS and immediately headed to the health/medicine section. As I looked for the Sinus medication, I could feel someone looking at me from behind, at first I brushed it off until I heard a familiar voice

Matthew
*shift eyes and smile*
"Well...hello my little Candy Cane"

I immediately turned around in shock. What was he doing here?

Matthew
"So we meet again *winks*, did you miss me?" *shift eyes and smirk*
