"Zander.... " he was walking down the stairs when he heard her wife calling him.

O his beautiful wife. He can't believe what he had done in the past to deserve her wife and have a family with her. He can't imagine life without them.

"Yes love?" he said as soon as he enters the kitchen.

The lady wearing a pink apron smiled at him. "Dear, can you please watch over this cookies? It only has ten minutes left to cook. I really need to take this call."

"Sure." he smiled back sweetly as he approach her.

"Please don't burn them love." his wife looked at him begging. "Your daughter will bring them to school. She and her friends will sell them at the school fair."

Zander snaked his arms around the small waist of her wife and gaze at her intently. "What for? Does she needs money? I can give her, she doesn't need to sell cookies at school."

"No, they're doing it for grades. It's kinda community service, the proceeds of this, will go to a choosen charity." her wife look at her with furrowed forehead. "And besides, what's wrong if your daughter is selling cookies at school? you should be proud, I did it before."

He chuckled when he see her wife's eyes are wide already, it's a sign that she's angry.

He tighten his arms and kissed her sweet lips to stop her from talking. "Yes, there's nothing wrong with that love, you are right." he smiled.

"You always do that to get away with the argument." her wife said. "Watch the cookies, don't burn them."

"Yes maam!" he acted as if a soldier and salute to her wife.

He watch her wife walks her way to the garden and smiled, such a lucky guy I am.

"Dad." a small voice came from the entrance of the kitchen was heard by Zander.

He turn too look and saw a little girl, peeking at the door "Can you please help me with my tent? Please dad."

He immediately  smiled at the little girl. "Now?"

The girl nodded.

He checked the time of the oven. It says nine minutes left.

"Okey! Let's go. We have to do it fast." he walk to the little girl and carried her in his arms and went to her room.

"There you go! It's perfectly done." He proudly said after setting up the princess tent.

"Come daddy, tell me a story!." The girl  tugged his shirt and went  inside."Come on! Come one!."

He glance at his wrist watch and checked the time. It took him three minutes to set the tent up. That makes six minutes left for the cookies to cook. He can manage, he'll check his watch time to time.
