Harry, Rose, Hermione and Ron stood before Professor McGonagall in her office, earning a handful of scolding while Malfoy smirked evilly while overhearing the words the teacher spoke.

"Nothing, I repeat, nothing gives a student the right to walk about the school at night. And Rose, I honestly thought you would be more responsible. Your necklace is highly valuable and could be taken if you are reckless. Therefore, as punishment for all of your actions, 50 points will be taken." She spoke with great power.

"50 points? Professor please-" Rose exclaimed.

"It will be 50 each Ms. Potter. And to ensure that this foolishness won't occur again, all five of you will be receiving detention."

Malfoy began to smile before realizing what McGonagall said.

"Uh, excuse me, Professor. Perhaps I heard you wrong. I thought you said...the five of us." Malfoy spoke unsurely.

"Oh no you heard me correct. You see Mr. Malfoy, you too were wandering the school at night when you should have been in your dormitory as well. Your intentions were good, however, you were still up and about. So, you also will be taking part in detention tomorrow evening." Harry, Rose, Ron and Hermione grin at each other, as Malfoy sags, knowing that he finally got what he had deserved from the start.

*time skip to the meet up for detention*

The next night, Harry, Ron, Rose, Hermione, and Draco are led back to Hagrid's hut by Mr. Filch.

Mr. Filch begins muttering a few uneasy words. "A pity they let the old punishments die. There was a time detention would find you hanging by your thumbs in the dungeons. God, I miss the screaming."

Malfoy gulped while Rose gasped in fear.

"You'll be serving detention with Hagrid tonight. He's got a little job to do inside the dark forest." Filch continued to lead the group down to Hagrid's Hut before stopping to find the man himself sniffling while picking up a crossbow.

"A sorry lot this, Hagrid. Oh, good God, man, you're not still on about that bloody dragon, are you?" Filch asked displeased.

"Norbert's, he....he's gone. Dumbledore sent 'im off ter Romania ter live in eh colony. Thinks it'll be better fer 'im...."

"Well, that's good isn't it Hagrid? He'll be with others of his kind and he won't be alone at least." Rose spoke sympathetically.

"Yeh, but what if he don' like Romania? What if the other dragons are mean an' try ter hurt 'im? He still's only a hatchling, after all."

"I'm sure he'll be okay Hagrid. That little guy is full of spark, so I'm sure he'll make friends in no time."

"You really think so Rose?"

"I know so, Hagrid. I promise." She smiled peacefully with small tear droplets on the corner of each eye. She wiped them with her hand before Filch spoke up again.

"Oh, for Gods sake, pull yourselves together, now. You're all going into the forest, after all. Got to have your wits about you."

"The-the forest?" Rose asked fearfully.

"That's right weaklings.."

"The forest? I thought that was a joke! We can't go in there. Students aren't allowed. And there are......werewolves...." Malfoy trembled sharply.

"There's more than werewolves in those trees, lad. You can be sure of that. Nighty-night......" Filch left back up to the school while the group gathered their courage.

Hagrid pulled Rose to the side to speak to her.

"If anythin' happens Rose, anythin' at all, find Harry and git out of here. No matter wha' it takes. Get out as fast as ye can if possible. And if it comes to et, you use that special animagi McGonagall gave ya, alright?"
