The next day Lila gets up for work as normal but She had this nagging feeling inside her. She couldn't decide if it was guilt or something more. For the past 48 hours, she has been trying to contact Connor to fix this but it kept going to voicemail.
She snorts to herself looking in the mirror, "What was I even gonna say anyway? Hey, babe really sorry I cheated on you but can we try again? Pathetic, You've gone absolutely totally pathetic or bonkers or both. God, I need to stop sounding so desperate isn't that what got me into this mess in the first place?"
She gets up and walks over to the bathroom and switches on the shower. She was about to get into the shower when suddenly the phone rings. Thinking it was Connor she sprints towards it.

"Ergh, What does this guy want now?" She picks up her phone and answers it. "Josh, What the hell do you want?
Josh sighs in reply, "Oh so I can't care about you anymore?"
Lila yells at him, "We aren't together anymore, You're the one that walked out on me remember?"
Josh snorts. "I'm well aware of that but I don't exactly class what we were doing as together."
Lila shouts impatiently, "Then What in hell's name do you want?"
Josh takes a deep breath. "Don't worry I'm not calling to beg you to take me back, I'm not that stupid because I'm well better off out this crazy situation that you pulled me into. I'm simply calling for a friendly warning."
Lila rolls her eyes at his words. She didn't believe him one bit. She smiles to herself thinking "Of course he wants me back."
She paces around the room. What the hell is this guy playing at?" "And that friendly warning is What exactly? Josh if you're after some kind of revenge or money your looking in the wrong place because I am the wrong person to mess with."
Josh growls in frustration. Clearly he wasn't getting anywhere so he should just spit it out and say it. "Connor knows."
Lila laughs nervously. "I know, That's yesterday's news. I told him about me and you two days ago and quite frankly I haven't heard a peep from him since."
Josh was a little taken aback. "Wait, You told him? I've been wracking my brain with guilt trying to figure out how he knew and all this time you told him?" I thought he found out and might've hurt you or something."
Lila stopped dead in her tracks. "Wait, How did you know that he knows?"
Josh splutters, "How do you think? We ended up bumping into each other in the same bar and he overheard me talking about you whilst drowning my sorrows and then of course, He proceeds to beat me to a pulp and said something wierd and then took off."
