On the road again (5SOS children)

Chapter 5

COBAIN POV

The concert was about half way through when I looked down and noticed Ruby falling asleep. Her little curls fell upon her face as I picked her up walking her to the dressing room.

Madison, Samuel, Kailen, Kieron and Noah were already In the dressing rooms as the girls had already fallen asleep and couldn't be left alone.

All our mums plus kian and Audrey were in the super box watching the concert without being noticed.

As I walked the halls of the arena I noticed that all the doors were locked. I continued wondering around trying to get back to the dressing rooms, I had made it from the 3rd floor to the ground floor but I became lost somewhere along the way. Now I was in a section were fans could easily find me which was not the best when you have a sleeping 3 year old in your arms. I turned around praying that no one saw me and found an open door leading out of the arena. I stood there for a few moments before I seen Sebastian sitting on the ground looking over the city. He was near a door which I assumed would lead backstage since he never leaves the backstage areas at the concerts.

I walked over to him and reached for the door handle when he spoke up

"I wouldn't go in there" he stated without even looking at me

"And why not?" I asked, I was still annoyed at him for hurting me and being a dick

"Just trust me don't go in there" he said this time looking up at me and my little sister

"Whatever I need to get her to the dressing room and this is the only open door so I'm going in" I scoffed what could possibly be back there that he doesn't want me to walk through

I opened the door and was immediately bombarded by phone flashes and screaming girls. Everywhere I turned there were more girls, Ruby woke up and started panicking so I pulled her tight to my chest shielding her from the fans. I blocked her ears in attempt to keep her from the screams but in trying to protect her I started freaking out. I could see the security trying to get through the pack but they didn't want to hurt any of the girls so it was hard, before I knew it I felt someone wrap their arms around me and did the same as what I had previously done to Ruby. I looked up and there he was Sebastian was now shielding me and Ruby from the mob. security had now made it close enough to us that they could grab Sebastian and start to pull us through the hall. And after what seemed like an eternity we were pulled through another large door and suddenly all was quiet.

When i realised we had made it backstage I just slid down the wall cradling my crying sister. I couldn't imagine what that must have been like for her considering she's so small.

In trying to calm her down someone began to shout

"What the hell is wrong with you I told you not to go in that door and what do you do you go through it. you could of hurt yourself or Ruby and all for what to get at me for something I don't even know. Are you honestly that stupid" Sebastian screamed at me

I didn't reply I just sat there with Ruby he was right she could of been hurt and it would of been my fault

A man -I'm not sure of his name- helped me up and began walking me and Ruby to the dressing room leaving Sebastian standing stressing out

I turned my head to look at him and he looked at me with sadness in his eyes. I don't get it why does he even care.
