I yelled as my side had hit the counter. "Fuck." I hissed out in pain. "Fucking Mayans." I grunted as I sat at the table with my coffee. I groaned in slight annoyance as my cell phone rang. "Hey, brother. Listen, we got a situation." Chibs said from the other end of the phone. "Get your ass to the clubhouse, now." He ordered. I sighed after I hung up, glancing down at my steaming hot mug of coffee. Getting up only to see Opie laying down on the couch. I stared at him. "Ok go on boy." I said, as he had voiced his share of his objection. I breathed a laugh at his grumbles, yet he walked into the area that I had closed off for him. If I didn't know any better I'd say he was an old man, reincarnated as a dog. "I know, but hopefully it'll go smoothly and I'll be home before you know it." I said. I got changed and walked out.
{that was not smooth, or quick.}
I had slightly limped into church. Passing by July and The prospect as I did so. Her gaze on me was another reminder of that day. I sighed quietly as I sat down at the table. Nodding at the guys staring. Chibs started talking.

I sat at the bar as dad passed by me. He glanced over at me as he passed. "Hey." I asked prospect. He looked up from cleaning glasses behind the bar. "What happened to Happy?" I asked. "Oh, uh. I-I- I don't know." He quickly stammered. I narrowed my eyes at him. "Talk." I ordered. "Now." I said. "Do you know who half sack was, huh prospect?" I asked, he shook his head slightly. "He only had one testicle." I said. "You know how he lost the other one?" I asked. The worry evident on his face. "Because I chopped his first one off." I whispered in his ear. I had pulled away, his eyes were wide as he was shakily holding his manhood. To make it more believable, I held two cherries with one hand and then I had aggressively bit one off of the stem. Chewing quietly, as he turned pale. "Jesus Pros, what the hell's up with you?" Tig asked as he walked in. I turned to see his confused gaze from prospect to me and started to laugh uncontrollably. "Half sack." He had mumbled. "Get the fuck back to work" he ordered, as he shook his head at me. "So, where were we?" I asked him.

"Hey kid." I sighed as I walked up. "Hey papa bear. Everything alright?" She asked. "No. No, kid. It's not." I sighed. Before I could explain any further Chibs walked up to us. "Can we talk lass?" He asked as she nodded and hopped off the bar stool, she was following him into the hall that led to the rooms. I sighed, and I downed a shot. It took an eternity for her to come back. When she did, she stared at me with an intense gaze. She had passed me in a hurry and I heard that familiar hum of a bike. Not just any bike, it was the one that I've heard a million times, staying up long nights worrying if I'd hear a million motors heading down my quiet street that wouldn't be my one in a million. I sat quietly, hearing the hum fade fast. "What the hell chibs." I asked angrily. He sat at the couch with a beer. He looked up at me as I stormed over. "What." He asked defensively. "You said you weren't gonna say shit!" I yelled. "You said you'd wait!" "Well shit changed, brother." He replied. "What the fuck do you mean shit changed." I asked. "Shit. Changed." He repeated. "Fuck you Chibs." I spat. I turned to walk away, "oi, we have a problem, brother." He asked. "No." I said, as I had barely looked over my shoulder. "Good. 'Cause it'd be a real shame if something were to- occur while the little lass is away, no?" He said. I didn't respond. I let out a shaky breath and found my previous seat at the bar. He wouldn't get off that easy.
