"I've come to call, (y/n)" Death said in a way that was cold, yet soft. You looked down and tried to fight back tears. "(y/n), you remember our deal, right?" he said. You nodded slowly, remembering how this all happened.
~10 Years Prior~
You looked at your twin's sleeping figure. She had been very sick for weeks now and everyone said, "The Grim Reaper will be coming to call for her soon. Its only a matter of time. Such a shame though. She is just so young." You were only six at the time and didn't know who The Grim Reaper was, but you weren't going to let him take your sister! Even though you were only six, you formulated a plan to keep your sister here. You figured that the Grim Reaper had no friends because he kept stealing people from their families. You decided to stay up and wait for him to appear so you could make a deal with him. At around three in the morning, he showed up. He stood over you sister's bed with a scythe in his hand. He was clad all in black, from head to toe. You tilted your head upon seeing this strange figure. You tugged his sleeve, causing him to turn around and look surprised. "Hello Mister Grim Reaper. I need to talk to you," you said in an adorable voice. He kneeled down on one knee and nodded for you to continue. "I wanna make a deal with you, sir. People kept saying you were going to take my sister away. I don't want my sister to go. If she leaves, I'll be all alone. So, here's the deal. I want you to let my sister stay. And if you let her stay, I will come live with you and be your friend." you explained. Death considered your offer. He knew what being alone was like. It was a sharp pain that never goes away. Everyone is scared of him, but this one girl showed no fear towards him whatsoever. "Alright. I like this deal and you seem like a very nice girl. I will come back for you In ten years. Deal?" Death said. His voice was deep, and calm. You hugged his neck with your small arms. "Deal." you confirmed.
~Present Time~
It had been so long since you could've remembered that day, but seeing him brought it all back. And you hated it. Death led you to a magnificent coach and horse. The horse was a beautiful white stallion with piercing red eyes. The coach was well furnished in the colors black and red. All in all, you liked the way everything was styled. Yet, you couldn't enjoy it. You were too heavy hearted with the fact that you were leaving your sister. You and Death sat across from each other in the coach. Somehow, the coach drove itself. You had officially begun your journey away.
