A/N - Before you continue, I want to make some things clear. The story does not begin until the night of the "Summer Camp Incident." Izuku is not "normal" per say, as he has power that some would call a "Quirk" but can still be considered Quirkless. Izuku also has no idea what quirks are. This all shall make sense later on... or sooner. Who knows? There are a few other surprises as well.

[Location - Summer Training Camp - UA Property of W.W.P. - 9:30 pm]

The students of classes 1A and 1B were being split up into pairs, getting ready for their Test of Courage. They were joking around, waiting for their eventual turns. Most were standing, talking about school, training, the like. Others sat and relaxed. The Test had only been in effect for around 30 minutes when the sky lit up. Startled slightly the students began to murmur amongst themselves, thinking perhaps it was all part of one of the "Spook" Teams. Oh ow wrong they were.

Thick black smoke began to roll in towards the students, causing them to become alarmed, and seconds later chaos erupted...

------------------------------

[Location - Hidden Cliff Cave - In the Depths]

A small figure can be seen running through the twisting maze of tunnels far beneath the surface. They are wearing a hooded cloak pulled over themselves, hiding their face. They stop for a moment, listening. Then, they stoop down behind a stone outcropping. Covering their mouth to quiet their breathing, the continued to listen.

Soon, the pounding and slapping of feet, both covered and uncovered are heard. Their owners speaking in deep, guttural voices.

"Fraaaack! Where did that grubbish little runt scramble too?!" One of the figures said. They carried a burning torch above their head, illuminating the speaker. If one were to see what they were, one would think them some kind of Hell spawn, being to horrific to describe.

"Graaaaaak! "Tis all you're fault, Demiolus!" Another of the creatures said, annoyed at their comrade.

"It makes no difference! The runt will die anyways. He's led us deep enough. Let the Horrors get him, says I. Do you agree, Delitanur?" The torch bearer asked, earning a nod and a grunt.

Had the two not been bickering, they would have noticed something quite foul coming towards them. But, it was too late. One moment there was light to see by, then they were plunged into darkness. The hooded figure stayed silent, stayed still, not moving or breathing.

Unearthly howls and screams echoed through those tunnels, the Horrors dragging their prey ever deeper into the deep and winding abyss. The sound of scratching and slithering went on for a few moment before... silence.

The figure steadied their breathing, slowly, quietly. Once they could breathe normally again, they crept from their spot. They looked around, making a small 'pop' sound from their mouth. The coast was clear. They then began the slow, and dangerous trek back to the Old Gate, where the Tunnels met the surface... and with it, Freedom.

[Location - Surface - Time 10:30 pm]

The students and their teachers had managed to fight off their assailants. As they made a headcount, they noticed something.

"Alright. Bakugo..." A tired sleep deprived man, who looked like a hobo called out. "Bakugo. Katsuki Bakugo..." He said, checking again. "Does anyone know where he is?" He asked the students.

"I think he went to find Kota, Mr. Aizawa." A girl with earphone jacks on her ears said.

"Thank you, Jiro." Their teacher, Aizawa said. "That concludes our headcount." He drawled. "Now, can some of you help go retrieve him?"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Location - Cave Entrance - 11:00 pm]

Here we see Kota, hugging one exploding Pomeranian, the body of a one eyed villain behind them, knocked unconcious.

"Thanks..." Kota said, letting go of Bakugo.

"No problem, squirt." Bakugo said, chuckling at the boy. "We should wait for the others to arrive." He said, earning a nod from Kota. They sat there, when they head something... running feet? They looked at each other than followed the sound. It was coming from the Cave.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

'SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!' A hooded figure thought to themselves. They were sprinting full speed, adrenalin fueling them to go faster. 'I WAS TOO RECKLESS! GO GO GO! RUN RUN RUN RUN!' They saw what appeared to be light ahead, signaling the entrance, not knowing about what was ahead.

They ran harder, breathing deeply, pushing themselves forward. Then -

"ACK!" Two young men and a boy yelled, as one collided with the other two.

Katsuki and Kota were watching the cave entrance when a figure came running out, full speed no less! And collided with them. After a moment, the figure got up rubbing their head, and pulled down their hood in the process.

"SHIIIIIIIT!" The figure groaned. They looked at the two he had just collided with, but was driven from their thoughts seconds later. "You've got to be joking!" They shouted. Without a second thought, they grabbed both the tall boom boom boy, and the smaller child, ran with them, to the edge of the cliff... and to the two pieces of baggage's horror.... jumped. They panicked at first, but gave up when they felt the arms holding them stiffen. The reached the floor rather quickly, where they were promptly set down again. "Sorry! I need to go!" The small figure said before running off into the woods, panic clear as day in their emerald eyes.

After the short person ran off, by seconds, the two were found.

"Found you." Aizawa said. "Come on. We need to get you treated." He said before walking towards the camp, leaving behind two volunteers to bring the student and child back. They had walked back to the camp when they heard a sound. It was deep in pitch, with a groaning, gurgling sound. If they all left the camp in a hurry, not wanting to deal with any more shit, no one would know.

But... they left something behind... Something old... older and more ancient than the race of Man... and with that being, creatures of of the deep dark... nameless beasts of the abyss... ancient horrors, never meant to be seen...
