Y/n's POV
Me and Gabi are walking around town when I spot a nest of birds. I stop walking as I stare at the birds
"And so that's why I'm the best war- hey are you even listening?" She asks
"Look at the birds" I say
"They're just birds" She says
"Exactly, they can go wherever they want. They can be free. Imagine if we could do that" I say
"So you want a bird?" She asks
"I mean I guess" I say. She smirks
"Well lucky for you, your best friend is the number 1 warrior candidate" Gabi says cockily.
"Wait what are you gonna do?" I ask
"Get you a bird duh" She says
"Wait I don't think that's a good i-" I begin
"Watch the master do her work" Gabi says as she cracks her knuckles. She then climbs the tree and manages to catch one of the birds. Sadly it was a baby. The parent birds began attacking Gabi
"Quit biting me!" Gabi yells as she swats at the birds
"Let the baby bird go" I say. She opens her hand and the baby bird flies off. The parent birds follow after. I walk over and help Gabi up
"That was kind of stupid" I say
"If there weren't those birds, I could've done it" Gabi says. I pat her head
"I'm sure you could've" I say with a smile
