Y/n's POV

We were attacking Marley. It's not like we wanted to, Eren forced us all here. I wish I was at home and relaxing. I don't want to kill these people

I left formation because I was getting corned by Marleyan Soldiers. I wasn't aware of how close I was to the harbor, so when Armin transformed the force knocked me out

Armin's POV

I transformed and stared at the rummage around me. That's when I noticed a (H/c haired girl/a girl with H/c hijab)

Is it Y/n? No, she shouldn't be over here. I mean there are plenty of people with (H/c hair/H/c hijab). So why do I feel like it's her? Please don't be her, I could never forgive myself

I come out of the nape and head over to the (H/c haired girl/girl with h/c hijab). I pull off some rummage off of her when I see her face. S/c skin. Her nose is bleeding and there's blood running down her face from a head wound. I then took in her features and my heart stopped

It's her... I did this... I killed he- no she coul- think realistically she's probably dead... I'll take her anyway.

I pick up Y/n and head to the blimp thingy mabob. I get on and Mikasa stares at me with wide eyes. I hasn't noticed tears falling down my face

"You're crying" She mutters

"Y/n- I, I didn't mean to" I say as my voice cracks. I look at Mikasa with pleading eyes. She takes Y/n from me and walks away.

I didn't even get to confess... I killed her... how could I? I'm a monster...

I lean against the wall and fall to the floor. My elbows on my knees as I cry into my hands

I hurt her...

~Time Skip~

We've made it home. My eyes are all puffy and red. I was offered food but I wasn't hungry...

I just can't get over the fact I killed her

I was walking around HQ when I heard quick footsteps

Someone is running

Next thing I knew a hand was on my shoulder. I jumped at the sudden contact. I turn around to see Mikasa

"Hi Mikasa" I say

"Armin, you've got to come with me! I need to show you something!" Mikasa says. I give her a sad smile

"I'd love to but I'm not in the mood" I say

"No, no you don't understand! You have to come!" Mikasa says as she begins dragging me.

"Mikasa stop!" I say

"Trust me, you need to see this!" She says. I give in and follow her. We arrive at a hospital

"Why are we here?" I ask

"Just wait" She says as she pulls me into a room. My eyes widened at the sight. A girl with (H/c hair/ a H/c hijab) was staring at me with her e/c eyes. She was smiling at me

"You're alive" I mutter as tears stream down my face

"Of course I'm alive... you can't kill me" She says with a laugh. I feel guilty and look to the floor

"Don't looks so guilty, you didn't know" She says

"That doesn't excuse the action" I say as I look up. She motions for me to come over. I do so and she grabs my hand. My face turns pink as I stare at her

"Is Armin blushing?" She asks with a smile

Should I confess? It's now or never

"Y/n, I have to tell you something" I say

"What is it?" She asks

"I have romantic feelings towards you" I say. Her jaw drops

"Wait, seriously?" She asks. I nod. She then smiles

"The feeling is mutual" She says. A wide grin appears on my face as I hug her

"Ow, ow, ow, still injured" She says. I instantly back

"I'm so sorry" I say

"Relax it's fine" She says
