I scrolled through my Instagram comments, tears prickling my eyes. It had always been like this. Ever since my ex best friend DeAnna left me, I was bullied. She didn't have a good reason only said she didn't think I was good enough to be friends with her and Macy. Macy was my other friend but I was never as close with her.

I scrolled back up to the picture I had just posted of me and my dog. It was a selfie and he was giving me a kiss on the cheek. He seemed like my only friend nowadays. I didn't think I looked that bad. Obviously this wasn't the best picture I have of myself but it was just a fun selfie.

I couldn't post anything without getting mean comments though. I was use to it by now. A year of getting pushed around in the halls and spaghetti getting thrown at you at lunch really changes you. I wasn't the same as I was before. I was boring and depressed all the time.

A knock at my door caused me to drop my phone. Of course my floor was wooden so the screen broke. I sighed picking it up and throwing it on my bed. It was a Saturday and in the middle of the summer so I was thoroughly confused on why someone was at the door. Plus both my parents were at work.

I swung the wooden door open, silly string getting shot in my face before I could see who was behind it. I let out a small whine as I wiped it from my eyes. I quickly looked up to see my neighbor Harry and his friends laughing in my face. Harry was the most popular kid in my grade. It wasn't just his good looks but he was defiantly a charmer.

I remember the first time I met him in 5th grade when he kissed me on the cheek and told me I was pretty. I felt like the happiest girl on the planet, but 5th grade flings never lasted and we were now Juniors in high school. I had a hopeless crush on him ever since that day.

His group of friends, including DeAnna and Macy, were the worst to me. They'd always find a way to make my mood sour, yet here I stood thinking about how good Harry looked in his grey sweatshirt and tight black jeans.

"Stop staring at his dick Claire." His friend Liam sneered.

My eyes shot up and met Harry's. As his friends continued to laugh at me I gave him the saddest look I could muster before slamming the door in his face. I took a deep breath and looked through the peep hole finding Harry still standing there. His head was down but he looked up once more before turning and laughing with his friends.

One day I would get the courage to tell him about my stupid crush.
