I woke up, the sun shining brightly on my eyes.

it's a holiday, thank God

The last three subjects for the exam was move till next week because of today's holiday and the weekend. Though, I still need to study for the exams.

"Kids, we'll go out tonight. Make sure you both study well."
My sister and I got really happy and nodded. Mom went out to buy groceries, leaving me and my sister alone.

"Onii-chan(brother in JP), please don't get in my room because I don't want to be bothered." She said with seriousness. My sister is a top student, alright. This attitude is nothing new. Though, I know she's humble and she'll never brag like she'd bet her whole life for it.

"Yeah, yeah." my sister closed the door behind her. I went in my room and played chill music to increase my focus. I went to my study desk and started with the easier subjects.

After a few hours, I got tired and decided to grab a glass of milk. I went to our kitchen and took the box of chocolate milk, pouring some of it on a glass.

While having a break, I thought of Eunri. I just saw her yesterday but I miss her presence, her smile, her pouts, everything.

I decided to call her to check on her. The phone rang for a few seconds, then her pretty voice rang in my ears.

"Y-Yobuseyo?"
"Konbanwa~" I greeted, feeling so giddy than ever.
"Oi, are you even studying?" she asked.
"Of course I did so I can call you when I take a break." I smiled.
"Shut up. Go back to studying." haha, as expected from this idiot. Well, I bet she's busy.
"Aww. How cold. Arasseo, jagi~"
"I'M NOT YOUR-"

I hung up and chuckled. She's so cute when she's flustered.

I thought about leaving some snacks for her on her door. I filled two glass bottles of milk and grabbed two packs of Oreos. I placed them in a small box and I wrote my name on it. I smiled and told my sister that I'm going out for a while.

"Take care!" she said.

I took off, wearing a gray hoodie with my pajamas underneath. I thought of scenes that might happen when I see her later. Maybe she'll be shocked? Angry? She'd be stuttering, that's for sure. I hopped, wearing a very big smile and I swear I'm blushing hard right now. It's my first time doing this seriously for a girl that I like. I never had any serious crush until her. Though teasing her would still be the best option. Why? She's adorable when she's angry~

I was nearing her house when I saw a guy near their door. He bent down and placed a big box on the entryway. He walked away and I hurriedly hid myself. He passed by me and when I saw his face clearly...

....It was Junghwan.

I looked at the small box I was carrying, thinking that it wasn't enough to cheer up and encourage Eunri.

I felt down and decided not to put my box there.

I went home, feeling downhearted. I wasn't in the mood to study anymore. I feel so insecure than ever. I forgot that Junghwan also likes Eunri, what the hell.

I wonder who she'll pick...

But of course, Junghwan has the upper hand.
