*knock knock knock*

Ugh, "Be Down in a minute!"

I jumped out of bed and raced downstairs o open the door.

*Knock knock knock*

"I said im comi-" I opened the door and a Mystical Mailman was at my door

oh no.. This means the resuts came in, im worried that they found out about Taylor's Magic!

"Ma'am, your mail."

"Yeah," i looked at the letter, its my name "Thanks!"

And with that he disappeared. I quicklly opened the letter without hesitation.

Dear, Alexa..

We are happy to inform you with the results of your assessment..

Blah Blah

...We have learned with your results you may have a kid that is earning their powers. If you are not aware please ask your kids about anything unusual about their lifes. If any of your kids have earned their powers please come to The Light Council ASAP. If you do not report to the council ot your kid it will result in consequences.

"Fuck!" I Yelled.

"Hey, language!" Natalie came out of the kitchen.

"What are you doing down here?" I asked

"I knew the results would come in today, so i waited.. did you get a bad but great grade?!"

She yanked the paper out of my hand. Her eyes skimed the paper they slowed down when she got to the last part.

"Shit.."

"What am I going to do Natalie?"
"Just uh, act natural.." she spoke quietly.
"If you act differently they'll think something's up."
"Yea. Yea ok. Ok I'll do that. Can't risk losing her." I said as I paced the living room.
I glanced at the photo frames on the wall. Family photos. I tear spilled out of my eye.
"I love them Nat. It would kill me. Please, please help me."
She threw her head down. And just shook her head. I could've swore she sniffled.
"Yea. I love them too. But. But I don't know. What if they-- what am I saying. I'll help you Alexa."She was crying now.
we just sat there on the couch crying.
"We need a plan."
