Not Another Love

Chapter 3: Shopping

It was suppose to be just Liv, Taylor and I but the boys said that needed to do some last minute shopping to apparently so they came along but we eventually split up.

" oh guys I heard Macy's has a sale on all new bathing suits wanna go!" I suggested

They all agreed so we walked around looking for Macy until we finally found it. There was tons of bathing suits but I wasn't even sure what I was looking for. The new trend were like these high waisted bottoms but they made me look weird so I decided to pass on that one. Liv tried on the ones that has that little cinch in the bottoms. Not really for me I kept looking. Then I found this one with this really cool crossing back. I kept looking around and also saw one that was strap less with this cool crossing in the middle. It was a light sea blue. I picked out black bottoms to go with them and was set.

"Liv, Taylor you ready to go try them on." I yelled

We all ran to the dressing rooms to try them on. Then I came out Liv was wearing the first one she picked out with the synch bottoms.

" pretty daring Liv" Taylor and I laughed

" perfect" she giggled

As I was trying on bathing suits I realized how much I really needed to loose some weight. My stomach was a little thick. I tried sucking it in which looked good but I can't hold It there forever... Right?

We met up with the guys for lunch at the food court. I decided to have salad after I saw my stomach today. The guys had pizza and Liv and Taylor had Thai.
We took one last stop trying to seek out some cute summer outfits. The weather was starting to get warm again and I barley had anything to wear. I picked out this cute pair of slightly high waisted shorts and this cute halter style top its was yellow with white little flowers. Perfect for the summer.

We finished up and Carson was driving me home again. My mom was still at work since she a nurse she works on Saturdays. Carson came in and started playing with my dog daisy. I ran upper stairs to finish packing as he followed. I ran upstairs and saw my prettiest bra on the ground I picked it up totally in the moment forgetting that Carson was coming up the stairs. I thought about for second

" err wait a minute Carson let me just--"

" wow you room is a mess!" He replies

" Ha thanks Carson!"

he lays down on my bed while I start cleaning up my room.

" why do girls always over pack for like 2 day vacations?

" well we always need to have a lot of options just in c are we don't like the original outfit" I said

" well I guess I'll never understand your knowledge but whatever ..." He closes his eyes for second then drifts off to sleep.

While he was sleeping I attempted on cleaning up my room however, it was quite messy. So It was defiantly going to take longer than I thought. I was going back in forth in my head on weather I should bring another sun dress just in case. Then I thought well there is a washing machine so if the other one gets dirty I can just wash it. While in the middle of my little debate I got a call from Taylor. It was quite unexpected since she doesn't normally call but I figured it must be important so I picked it up.

" Hey Tay what's wrong?" I ask

" Nothing is wrong it's just it seems like Josh doesn't even like me anymore."

" What do you mean he has to like you you've been dating for so long." I reply

" Yeah but maybe it's the end" her voice saddens

" I guess what did he do though?"

" Well I keep asking him if he wants to hang out at my place and he keeps saying he's busy. Trust me he's at home playing video games or something. Then he says well we will be spending the whole long weekend or whatever together so why does it matter. I mean does he not find me attractive anymore."

" Maybe he just wants some alone time how many times have you asked him to hang out?"

" Um.. not sure around three I guess"

" I would suggest just leaving him alone for a while just to let things cool down. I'm sure if he wasn't attracted to you he would have already ended it anyway he's not one ot hold onto dead weight not that you are but in his opinion."

" I guess your right well I got to go bye"

I had never thought that Josh and Taylor would ever break up. They've been dating since freshman year and well I thought they'd be together forever. I mean I guess it's silly for me to think that high school relationships would last forever but some do right? I see Carsen eye flutter and he wakes up form his ever so long twenty minute nap. I figure it's better not to mention Taylor and Josh to him since I'm afraid he will tell Josh something that Taylor doesn't want him to know. So I keep it to myself, though I still wonder why Josh just wants to be alone.

" What should we have for dinner?" asks Carsen

" hmm I was thinking I could make homemade pizza or something"

"That is a good idea... make sure you put the onions on it like you do though!"

" Don't worry I know how much you love your onion pizza."

We both walk down to the kitchen to start making our delicious dinner. That's what I liked about me and Carsen's relationship it was simple but we would always hang out and just watch a movie or make dinner together like a normal couple. It was rare that we went out except on special occasions. However, I wouldn't change anything about him, but maybe that because, I not one for change.
