Dear Family,
I'm sorry. I never wanted it to come to this. I didn't want to die I just couldn't stand to live. I was so scared of the future and I hated this world so much. Also I didn't want to be punched in the face because Mom, you literally said you would punch me in the face if I ever liked girls and guess what? I do! I'm pan and ace. I know you don't think being asexual is a real thing but it is. So by now you probably hate me but I still love you. Mac and Adrian, i'm not mad at you anymore and i'm sorry how we left things. Auntie Sarah, you really are a rockin' aunt. Charlotte and Dylan, I know they won't really understand what happened but make sure to tell them I love them. Auntie Ally, I know you'll probably understand the most and I wanted to let you know that thanks for helping me all you could. Grandpa, I know weren't the closest but I love you. Grandma, i'm sorry for being so mad at god I just couldn't help it. I have so many mental problems and I had to blame someone. Vicky, even though we fought a lot you were a pretty okay sister. Mom, i'm sorry for how we left things and i'm sorry for throwing the life you gave me away but I do love you. Dad, if you guys can find him, i wish you stayed. I just wanted to say I love you all and goodbye.
love,
Mary
Mary set down her suicide note on her bed, deciding that the letter was good enough and went to leave her room. She twisted the lock and shut the door making sure it was locked. No one was home yet since her mom didn't get home until around five and the elementary school her sister went to still had about an hour left. So she didn't have to sneak out.
The girl ran down the stairs of the apartment building and out the door. She took one last sad look at the vomit green building and smiled softly as tears streamed down her face. Then she hopped on her bike and rode away to meet her girlfriend.

Dear Mom,
I know Matt and I were all you had after dad passed and i'm very sorry to follow in dad's footsteps but I just can't do it anymore. I know I had a great life and I'm very grateful for everything you've done for me but depression sucks. I know you won't understand but that doesn't matter as long as you can understand that it wasn't your fault and I love you both. Please take care of each other.
love,
Sadie
Sadie solemnly looked down at the letter and nodded, short but sweet. The paper was wet with tears, as was her face, and the ink was running. It could still be read though and that's all that mattered. Since her mom and twin brother were home she decided to go out the window. She ran to her bedroom door, locked it, then climbed out of her first floor bedroom window. She hopped on to her bike and with one final look at her small yellow house, she rode away to meet Mary at the quarry.

The two girls arrived at about the same time with Mary arriving only a minute before Sadie. Mary grinned. They were happy to see each other even in this grim situation.
"'ello luv," Mary said in a British accent. Sadie giggled. They could make each other laugh even in the worst of times. Mary was the only thing that got her through when her dad passed. "Are you sure about this?" She asked seriously this time.
Sadie twisted her red hair around her fingers. Her hazel eyes wet with tears but she nodded determinedly. "I have to be,"
Mary nodded in understanding, put her hands gently on her freckled cheeks and pulled her closer. Sadie twisted her fingers into Mary's black and purple hair and kissed her. It was sweet and passionate. The kiss held all of the things they couldn't find the right words to say. They pulled away hesitantly and clasped their hands together, their silver promise rings touching. They could never get married if they did this, they realized but by now it was to late. Sadie's mom had probably already found the note.
"You know I love you, right?" Sadie whispered.
"I know and I love you more" Mary said, her blue eyes shimmering with unshed tears.
"I don't think that's possible" Sadie said softly.
"Agree to disagree" Mary chuckled.
The two young girls who where so in love stood on the edge of the cliffs. They shared a glance and counted. One, two, three... Mary gripped her cross necklace and quietly said.
"I'll see you again"
"Promise?" The redhead asked.
"Promise" Mary told her.
And together, they jumped.
It wasn't as bad as they thought it would be. The wind whipped their hair around their faces and made their eyes water, but if they kept their eyes closed it almost felt like flying. Then, still in each others arms, they hit the ground with a loud crack.
