Summer evenings are the best! Don't you agree? The sun setting quite late, sitting by the fire, listening to the trees fly around, watching the stars. It all sounds great, don't it? Well that's what I'm doing right now with my family. My mum, my dad and my little sister Julia. Now this isn't THAT type of story where my parents are dead and I'm "quirky", no. I'm normal I have both of my parents and we are all very happy and I just have a life. Though one things is a bit strange about me... I can do magic. Okay, okay maybe I am a little different to other people, but I don't act it.

Well I told you all that but... you don't know about me. Well I'm Katie Brown. I'm 14 and I'm 5'9. I have dyed red hair and I'm little round in the belly. My best friend is Mahala who is also 14. She is 5'5 and I don't know what colour her hair is because she is a Muslim and she has to wear a hijab for her religion. We are also friends with John he's 6" and he has dark brown hair. He is apart of the lgbtq+. I don't know exactly what he is, but he is dating a boy named Robert so that's how I know he's not straight

Non of my friends believe I have magic, but I try to convince them I do. Of course, they think I'm crazy...
