TW: Gore.

I went to the backside of the train and Ash to the frontside. We had both understood what our plan would be— eliminating everyone on the train.

I tucked my gun in my waist band, and grabbed 2 knives. I put one switch blade in my right hand, visible for my rival, and in my left hand— the other switchblade.

I took a few deep breaths, and took off, running from train cart to train cart. Finally, after running on a few train carts, I spotted few of Arthur's men.

"You.." One of them said when they saw me walking towards them. I glared back at them, and recognised them from that day, the day where they ran after Ash and me at the library.

"You bet." I said, running towards them. One of them lunged forward towards me, with his fist aimed at my chin. I quickly protected my chin with my left arm and aimed the knife which was hidden in my hand, for his fist. Fortunately, my reflexes were fast enough and before even I, or him, in that matter, had realised what had happened— I had stabbed his fist. He screamed in pain as I plunged my knife out of his fingers and kneed him in his groin— followed by me stabbing him in his stomach.

The second guy looked at me in horror and lunged forward with a pocket knife in his hand. I used the easist trick in the book against getting stabbed— rotate your foot 90 degrees and twist your body with it so that you're out of the vision of your rival for that split second they should've stabbed you, followed by grabbing their arm, and twisting it around their neck— choking them with it as hard as you can. Long story short, I easily took him out, with minimum damage to myself.

As I expected, there weren't a lot of people gathered at the back of the train, so after I reached the last train cart and took the last person out, I took a little moment to breath. I panted, bending myself over and resting my hands on my knees as I tried catching up with my breath. I could still hear some faint gunshots from the front of the train trough the loud rustling of the train. I guess Ash is still taking them out.

Since I didn't use my gun, they don't know that I'm here so I can go help Ash out, this way. But I should stay hidden first if possible in case I need to pull a surprise attack.

I properly stood back up, and stared at my reflection in the doorway. My jacket was covered in splatters of blood, so were my hands. I had gotten a few bruises and cuts on my cheeks and hands, and I was tired. Really tired. I was supposed to be sleeping by now, rolling in my warm bed and hugging myself to sleep— but there I was, in a subway train, stabbing and fighting my way trough the train.

I rubbed my hands on my jacket to clean the blood off, and took my jacket off, throwing it on the ground, getting rid of the one thing which made me look like a killer— the bloodstains on it. I'm so disgusting. I started walking back to the front cart of the train in a fast pace, and noticed that the train wasn't driving underground anymore. If I remembered correctly, the next stop would be Coney Island, which meant that Ash and I would have to get out of the train as fast as possible and make sure no one spots us— that if everything goes correctly. But has something ever gone smoothly when I hope it would, no. The sun had already set in New York, and the train would be halting in it's next stop, soon.

As I walked trough the train carts, which were filled with blue benches and graffiti designs on the dirty walls, I could see dead bodies laying.. dead in the train carts, with bullet holes in them. Finally, I reached the front of the train. I was met by a scenery I didn't expect as I still stayed in the second train cart, hiding behind the door which leads you to the first train cart. By now, I had expected Ash to quickly and simply pull the trigger on Arthur's head, but that didn't happen.
