Chpater 3

Pov Sugawara

I sigh. What a day. How can someone be so direct in only the second week of school. It's been a very harsh week. Ever since our little meeting after practice. Daichi, Asahi and I have been starting to hang out quite a lot. They still don't know a lot about me, or anything but they are carrying me around everywhere. They've been asking every single person in our year about being our manager. I think they are about to give up. Finally, some peace and quiet.

"Sugaaaaaaaa. Are you even listening to what we are saying?" Oh no. I totally wandered off again. "Sorry, I'm a bit tired. You were saying"

"Really. You are never going to change." "Sorry." "Well, Suga, what Daichi and I were saying was that we should start asking people, which aren't in any school clubs." "Do you know any?"

What do they mean? If I know anyone, who will say yes. "Sorry, no idea. I'm going to class. Maths test." "Uf good luck." "Thanks."

I jogged to my classroom. Asahi and Daichi are nice, but for some reason I don't know how to act around them. Since we first met, they've act like if we were friends since birth. I guess it's natural for them. If I don't count my last teammates, I've never had actual friends, who are boys. Yep, my only friends are three girls and a feminine boy.

Actually I wasn't actually friends with mi past teammates so whatever.

"Oh, Sugawara-san. Hi." "Shimizu-san?" "Why are you so surprised we are in the same class." "I'm sorry. You are never the one to start conversations." "Well then. Time for a change. As I was saying, could you help me explaining Udai-san distance-time graphs for me." "Of course, I'm on my way."

Wait a second. Now that I remember. "Wait Shimizu-san at the end are you in any afterschool club." "No. Why? May I ask." "Nothing, nothing. Simply curiosity." "Curious huh." Shimizu turned around. Wait a second she sighed, and I swear she was blushing. Well, no time to worry about that now Suga. First, explanation. Second maths test. Thirdly, tell it to Daichi and Asahi.

What a long day again. I better tell them.

Where the hell did, they go. Don't tell me they are at the volleyball court. Today there is no practice, right? I can't believe it. These two are totally crazy. They love practice too much. I shouldn't be the one saying that, though.

"Hello guys." "Suga!" "How did maths go?" "Alright. I guess. Tomorrow they'll hand out the results." "Wow, great." "Now set to us." "You guys never stop do you?" "Of course not. Why would be?" "Leave him alone Daichi. It's natural. His tired I mean look how thin Suga is. His not like us. I mean it looks as if his going to die any second now." I made a weird smile at Asahi's direction. I would be lying if I said that didn't offend me at all. "Hey. Don't say that please. Asahi that insults people." What a relief. Someone with a heart.

"So Suga what were you going to say?" Weird. For some reason Daichi looks at me with a concerned face. He stopped Asahi before he started saying even worse things but by the look in his eyes, I know his also lying. "Yes, I think I found someone, who could be our manager." "Really. Who?" "Come on Suga girl or a boy? It's really important." "Daichi it isn't important what gender the person is." "Well, it's better a girl because it draws more attention." "So, who is it?" "It's a girl from my class. Her name is Shimizu Kiyoko and if you want to ask her to join you two should hurry up or she'll leave."

They didn't have time to answer. They just rushed out of the gym and went all over the classes to find the girl I was talking about. At this rate she'll get scared and run. It only took them 5 minutes to realise they didn't know, who I was talking about and came back to the gym. It was obvious were she'd be, at least for me, so I just showed them the way to my class.

"Hello. Anybody here?" I said while opening the door. "Yep. Hello Sugawara-san. You came here to study English or something." Shimizu was standing next to the girl I helped this morning, and if it wasn't obvious they were helping each other with something. "Haha no thanks. I'm alright. Could we talk outside for a sec." "Okay. Udai-san could you wait here for a moment." "Sure." No problem the girl got her book and sat at her usual table.

Daichi and Asahi, who were behind me were rubbing their eyes. I think they didn't believe something. Weird. Really weird. They've never acted like that. "Suga." Daichi whispered to my ears. "How do you even know this hot chick." Huh I think I turned red for a second. Really Daichi can't you just think were you say those things.

"Sooooo, what is it?"

"Daichi you are the chief." "Come on man." "Sorry. I'll get to the point."
