<<Bree's Pov>>
It was currently 6:30 and I did not want to be awake. But now, I'm stuck in this hell hole we call school. School, you're supposed to learn things but All I learn is how not to be seen and how not to absolutely fail things. Not only am I at a new school, again every year maybe twice in a year (try being the awkward kid who comes in a month after the second semester. worst. thing. ever.) I am at this new school in a new country half way across the world and it sucks. The only reason people talk to me is to hear my accent and I didnt really think of Americans having accents until now. It's weird.
Of course, on the new first day I always wear some sort of band shirt so that I might get to find people who like the same bands as me. Because they always seem the nicest people you could ever possibly find in high school. Way better than connecting over designer hand bags and the new hair and makeup trends.
So to enter this school day I wore my black shirt with pierce the veil written in large letters and their beautiful faces on my shirt. I also wore black, slightly ripped jeans, and my black and gray vans. I barely new the classes I would be in or the supplies I needed so I grabbed general school supplies last night and stuffed then into my old back pack and hoped for a little amount of text books I'd have to carry around with me everyday.
As always, when walking into a new school a week after its started, people kinda stare at you as you walk by either wandering who you are or wanting you to get out of their way. You can always tell who the popular kids were. It's super easy to pick them out because when they walk by the nerds stare in awe and everyone slightly moves towards the walls so they can make their way swiftly through the hallways and this horrible high school. Luckily, I didn't run into anyone as I made my way down to the main office.
The main office looked similar to all those I'd been in before. Seeings how I'm a senior, I've been in a lot of them through middle school and high school. This one had old blue-ish gray paint with dark gray couch and love seat with a wood and glass table in the middle of them. At the back of the room held a long desk and doors on both side leading to offices.
"Oh, you must be Bree Carter! It's nice to meet you. How was your trip here?" A very lively lady greeted me. Her dress matching her personality. Her dress was bright orange with pink and purple designs down it. Her dark brown curled hair hung below her shoulders and her hazel eyes where bright with excitement.
"Yeah. that's me.. Oh my trip was just fine, just long." I smiled back. I learned that if you just pretend you're super happy at their school they will mostly leave you alone.
"Very long indeed. I have your schedule the desk and I'll walk you to your first class." Her Australian accent became thicker the more we talked but her voice was still happy and smooth when she talked.
She soon gave me my schedule and walked to my first class, math. Math went by smoothly because I never really had problems with it. Sadly, I had a lot of makeup work for the last week I've missed cause I wasn't in the country. It was okay because it was review and she's giving me till the weekend to finish it all and be caught up with the class.
I think I might have even made new friends. I was sitting next to this girl, named Olivia, and a boy named Luke. Olivia had little to none makeup and looked perfect. She had long blonde hair and big blue eyes. She also had a perfect figure and was super nice. Pretty much the definition of a perfect girl. While I, on the other hand, has ridiculously curly hair that was almost black, and dull hazel eyes. I usually just out my hair in a pony tail and wear a lot of eyeliner.
Luke and Olivia said I could meet his other friends Emily, Calum, and Allie later at lunch because they didn't have any classes together and then we could go out to the pizza place right next to the school where a lot of kids go to hang out after and over the weekend. Sounds fun and I can't wait.
