Whoosh!
When Ginny opened her eyes, she was in the middle of 12 Grimmauld Place.

Unlike she had expected, her family was no where in sight. She didn't mind. It was dark outside, she was freezing and just wanted to go to bed, no questions asked.

But, that obviously wasn't what she got.

"Gin! How was it! You have fuuuun?" Rose stretched out fun until it had five syllables.

"Yeah. He was...really sweet." Ginny said dreamily. He had been sweet. But was she ready to be his girlfriend? She wasn't sure. She knew she liked Harry, nothing could doubt that.

"...Ny? Ginny! Earth to Ginny, come in Ginny!" Ginny snapped out of her thoughts to see Rose waving a hand back and forth in front of her face.

"What?" Ginny asked, trying to forgot that she liked Harry.

Rose rolled her eyes.
"Remember? I'm leaving tonight and break ends the day after tomorrow. If I were you, I would pack my trunk early. I never feel like doing it the night before." She added.

"Oh. Gosh, I almost forgot. I should get to packing. But wait, where are you going to live? I thought your house was a little..er...unable to live in."
Rose hadn't noticed a lot of damages throughout her house when she left. The basement was demolished. Her bathroom was ruined. The floorboards could fall any second.

"My sister said she has a lot of space in her apartment. She has a few extra bedrooms, and it is in the Muggle World, but there is a few apparition points." Rose explained.

"Cool! Listen, I am tired, so good nigjt. Thank you. For everything. You are the absoulute. Best. I will see you on Platform 9 3/4. Bye." Ginny gave her best friend a hug, which was hard considering that they were on the stairs.

"No problem. I'm your friend. No need to thank me. Now, go to bed. Bye. No doubt Cora will call you. Her phone died in the middle of calling me." She said.

Ginny chuckled. Cora always forgot to charge her.  She headed up the stairs and into her bedroom.

"Ginny? Oh it is you. How was it?" Hermione said, sitting up in her bed, putting Hogwarts: A History down on her bed.

"It was fun. Michael was sweet and..." Ginny struggled to find the right word.
"Charming" she finished.

Hermione smiled.

"I'm glad you're happy. Actually Gin, I have never seen you like like anyone except Harry."

Ginny sighed and flopped onto her bed.

"It's funny. A couple of hours ago, O would have thought that this date was to either help me get over Harry, or get him to like me. But, I think I do like Michael. And..." Ginny trailed off.

"And?" Hermione prompted gently.

"And...he. He asked me to be his girlfriend!" She said in a big rush of words, almost impossible to understand.

"I didn't catch that. A little slowly please?" Hermione chuckled.

"He asked me to be his girlfriend." Ginny whispered, but Hermione heard her anyway.

"Oh that's great! Did you accept?" Hermione asked.

"I told him I needed time and he respected that." Ginny replied.

"Good boyfriend material, I'd say." Hermione poked Ginny playfully.

"Boyfriend?!" Someone exclaimed.

Ginny looked towards the door, and saw Ron, his face red.

"What?" Ginny asked testily.

"Going on that date with Corner is one thing, but him being your boyfriend is another." Ron said, still pretty mad.

"And what's it to you?" Ginny glared at her older brother.

"I don't want my baby sister to go around dating a-"

"Just in case you haven't noticed Ronald I am not a baby. I haven't been for years now. So just grow up!" Ginny snapped.

"You are not daring him Ginevra. I am not giving you my permission." Ron said calmly.

"First of all, DON'T CALL ME GINEVRA. Second of all, when was the last time I needed your permission for anything? Well?" Ginny was getting angrier.

"I am your older brother. I will tell you what's good for you." Ron's voice faltered whem he saw his sister's face.

"If you value your life, you will get out." Ginny said, eyeing her wand pointedly.

Ron took the hint and left.

"Why is he like this, I wonder." Ginny sighed, her anger fading.

"I don't know. But he is just protective." During their argument, Hermiome had sat their amost fascinated. She was an only child and didn't have sister/brother moments umless they were with Harry and Ron.

"I guess. But, he talks to me like I'm a child." Ginny said.

"That is pretty annoying. Why don't you get ready for bed?" Hermione suggested.

"Good idea." Ginny went into the bathroom and washed her makeup off, brushed her hair and pulled it into a somewhat messy braid, and changed into her green pajamas.

"Good night Hermione." Ginny said as the darkness fell.

"Good night." Hermione's voice was muffled underneath her blanket.

Finally, after thinking for quite some time, all Ginny could see were the back of her eyelids, the darkness allowing her to sleep.
