(A/N happy Easter to all who celebrate as planing on doing an April fools prank chapter but that would by a dick move. So Enjoy!!!)

"Umm Barry are you absolutely positive that this is going to work?" I asked him as he was attaching chemicals to a chair that had a large metal rod on it that would be used to attract a bolt of lightning and hopefully recreate the event that gave Barry his powers in the first place somehow.

Now thinking about it fucking stupid as shit! But the plot proceeds and he will regain his powers. I knew Barry didn't hear me as the thunder scene began or how this shit doesn't backfire because I'm here.

"Where's the ninhydrin?" Barry asked as he made some final adjustments to the chair with a calculating eye

"On your right..." Thomas said as I shake my head looking at what is happening in f 'this movie is for karma for all of the Aquaman hate" You know crazy right" Thomas said in a tone of skepticism "Dousing yourself in chemicals plugging into a lightning rod is going to make you the fastest man alive?"

Barry shrugged as he attached the ninhydrin "That's how I became the Flash the first time"

Thomas looked towards me but I held my hands "I don't know how it worked."

"Alright," Barry said with a laugh as he finished and began to strap himself in

Thomas looked up towards the raining sky with a frown under his cowl "They say that lightning never strikes in the same place twice"

Barry smirked "They, say a lot of things"

So I gave Thomas the signal to pull the lever and have the metal rod start to rise into the sky as lightning began to shoot out of the sky and briefly illuminate the sky. Several minutes of tense silence passed as streaks of lightning shot across the sky followed by nearly deafening cracks of thunder that caused me to wince slightly, sometimes enhanced hearing suck ass.

"Come on..." Barry said as he looked towards the skies "I'm here...I'm rig-"

Suddenly a bolt of lightning struck the metal pod and for a fleeting moment Thomas thought it worked how wrong he was...soon Barry ignited like a firework.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!" Barry screamed as his body was engulfed in flames Thomas and I rushed towards him to put out the flames.

"God Damn Barry..." I said when I saw his state, massive electrical burns up and down his whole body, hell most of his skin was fried off the stench was off-putting but I lived it Gotham so it didn't affect me as much same with Gunbat.

"We need to get him down to the cave, I have some supplies that can help him," Thomas said as he wrapped Barry in his cape

"He will be fine, you're a Doctor...right!" I said as he lifted Barry up and I followed Thomas down to the cave as fast as possible. I think a nap is in order

3 hour later

I realize that I was a toddler in mom's old apartment

"Zeusy honey... um..."

The sound of my name drew my attention, leading me to turn my gaze towards a familiar figure my mother. She stood, awkwardly, in her brassiere and a pair of boxer shorts, her blonde hair tied into a ponytail.

"You've been... cleaning rather... extensively."

I stared at the house, the small apartment to which I would call my residence of living from now to the nearest future. It was spotless. Tables were reflective, showing my own visage in their polished sheen. The floors shined as though someone had slathered olive oil on diamonds. The chairs produced a sheen that would easily be mistaken for the vibrant fur of a majestic animal in the wilderness. The kitchen area shone brightest, with the counter capable of imitating the squeaking noises of a mouse should one's finger be dragged atop the surface.
