2am

you tossed and turned in bed as you just could not sleep.

you grabbed your phone under your pillow to check the time.

2:37am.

you debated whether to wake up jaehyun, who was sleeping next to you, or not.

since he's been busy with his schedule you decided against it and let him sleep.

getting thirsty, you decided to go get some water as you were up already.

as you got out of bed you felt a hand reach for your waist, pulling you back into bed.

jaehyun snuggled into your hair as he kept a hold on you.

"trying to sneak away from me in the middle of the night?" he teased with his eyes closed.

"sorry, did i wake you?" you asked.

"mm.. just in the slightest. but it's okay, at least i get to cuddle with you while being awake and aware longer" he brought you in even closer to him.

"yes, after i go get a drink. im thirsty" you pouted.

"i have something else that can you can drink. it might take a few minutes though" he smirked as his eyes slightly opened.

you slapped his bare chest.

"you perv!" you got out of his reach as he laughed at his own innuendo.

you quickly ran to the kitchen to grab a water bottle and ran back into jaehyun's room at the dorm.

you didn't like being alone in the dark for too long.

closing the door behind you, you took a long sip from the bottle.

you saw jaehyun squinting at you from his bed with his head propped on his arm.

you gestured the water bottle to him but he shook his head.

"come cuddle now~" he pat the bed with his hand.

you placed the water bottle down and plopped onto the bed beside him.

your head rested against his chest as his chin sat on top of your head.

he pulled one of your legs to rest over his waist before wrapping his arms around you.

"jae?" you asked after a few minutes.

"mm?" he hummed.

"i couldn't sleep earlier and i still can't. since you're up now anyways, can you talk me back to sleep?"

"yes baby" he started to rub your back, soothing and relaxing your body.

he began to tell you about his day after leaving the dorm.

halfway done, he had heard little snores coming out of your mouth.

he smiled, kissed your forehead, and cuddled you closer before heading into dreamland.
