"I can't believe you're actually letting me meet the Avengers." Rosalie says.

"You could consider it as a late birthday gift." Fury replied.

"Dad, my birthday was 3 weeks ago."

"Yeah, well I was in Europe. I still feel bad about that. You're 19 though, I was there for all the other ones. Your life is fulfilled enough."

Rosalie laughs, "That's just cold."

"What else have you known me as?" Fury retorted.

"Don't even get me started on that. You don't want me to expose you, do you?" Rosalie says while still laughing.

"Don't even think about it, young lady." Fury warned, waving a finger at her. Rosalie's laughing died down a bit. They were sitting at home, about ready to go.

Fury looked as if he was thinking and then he looked amused, having a realization, "Exactly how much research have you done on the Avengers?"

"I- um..."

Fury laughed, "Spit it out."

Rosalie whispered, "A lot."

Fury laughed really hard, "God, you're funny. Let's go before you explode with excitement because you look like you're gonna pee yourself."

Rosalie rolled her eyes, "Oh, yeah, no, it's not like I've been waiting my whole life for this moment. Sorry if I'm a little excited."

"The Avengers haven't even been around your whole life." Fury said with a chuckle.

"Close enough to it." Rosalie said while grabbing the keys and running out to the car.

"If you think you're driving you must be on some kind of drugs because there's no way in hell I'm letting you drive."

"What? Do you not trust me?"

"No. I don't." Fury said while sneakily grabbing the keys and hopping in the driver's seat, "Let's go, slow poke!"

"No one says that anymore, dad."

"What do they say?" Fury asked while starting the car and reversing it.

Rosalie thought for a second, "Actually, I don't know. But what I do know is that no one says slow poke."

"Okay, okay. Don't even try and make me do a... what are those things called? A d- a da-hab? Too many of the Agent's kids are making them do it and it's horrible."

Rosalie started laughing her ass off, "Dad. You're not serious. No! First of all, it's a dab. Second of all, I'm not making you do that. I don't even do that."

"Good, because I'm a trained SHIELD Agent and I don't need to be doing some silly ass dance."

"Oh, yes. I know." Rosalie said, smiling. They rode in silence for a few minutes and then Rosalie asked, "There aren't any new Avengers I should know about, are there?"

"Well, there are the Maximoff twins and the robot guy. You might know about them already though."

"What robot guy?"

"I guess you'll be in for a surprise when we get there."

"No! Dad, I need to know everything so I can impress them on my knowledge and not burden them with making them explain everything to me!"
