We started talking while walking to my house, it was a decent distance. We started talking about things we liked. We started talking about what happened throughout the day.

"How many times have you been catcalled?" I looked at him.

"Uh, 5 to many." His eyes widened.

"I'm sorry about that. That guy only wanted the wrong thing."

"Yeah, I know. Even the closest of people can do it to you, you wouldn't believe they would too." He looked at me with a confused look.

"So, manipulation?"

"Yeah, kinda, I guess." I shrugged.

It was a long pause.

"Those nerds? That was really weird."

"You're telling me! I've never been flirted with, really. They were drooling!" I laughed, but more nervous.

"You've never been flirted with like that before?" Mikey asked.

"Yeah, but they were desperate."

"Yeah, and creepy!" A shiver went down his spine.

"Yeah, we pretended to date!" We laughed.

"I could never see you with someone like that." He said so calmly.

"It's hard to see me with anyone, and it's myself I'm talking about!"

"Why?" He asked, he sounded offended.

"I'm... different, people would say." I said it kinda quiet. I've always been different. I saw myself different.

"I like it." It made me blush a little.

"I do too! But it's weird. People give me different looks sometimes."

"People say I give you a different look." He happily said to me.

"A good one?"

"A good one."

Another long pause.

"So about that project?" I asked him.

"It's gonna be a long one." He said with a smirk.

"Aww man. I better be good at it after it's done."

"We'll be pros for sure."

"We should go play a game before we get into the project, we have forever to finish it."

"Then what shall we do?"

"We shall play baseball!" He smiled with big eyes.

"You know how to play?"

"Always have always will."

"What position?"

"Catcher sometimes outfield."

"I play every position, so you have some competition."

"You get a team and I'll get mine."

"You have a team?"

"Uh duh! I've been playing with them for years."

"Who are they?"

"Just some old friends, they play at a sandlot." (Yes I am adding them for some more action. And I could think of anyone else.)

"They good?"

"Are they good? They're probably the best you'll ever meet at this age!"

"Are they girls?"
