Her New Friend
The whole day yesterday has been so fast. Hours came by faster than we all knew it would.
Today is now Thursday.
Since we are allowed to wear anything today, I decided to wear a black skirt and a white crop top. I am also in my black heels too.
I've already eaten my breakfast for this day. Mom cooked monggo, fried rice, and a cabbage meal too while Tita Alexa arranged our dining room table and she also made a chocolate milkshake for me. I guess that's why I am now full.
Today, our class secretary informed me that our GMRC professor will announce an important thing during her class hours on us. I think I already know what I must do.
When I came on the school ground, I saw my friends there sitting on a bench waiting for me.
“Tito Warden drove you here, Shiela?” I nodded.
“Yes, Ayesha,” she nodded too.
“How was the ride, Ela? Are you alright?”
“Yeah, I'm fine, Rien. The ride's just slow but comfortable,” he nodded.
“That's good to hear, Ela! Anyway, do you want to eat before we go straight to our classroom, Ela?" I shaked my head as an answer.
“No, I'm okay, Rien. I'm already full,”
“Okay, good,” I smiled.
“You should sit first, Shie. Your heart may be pumping too hard now,”
“Yes, Aela. You're right. I already feel heavy,” she chuckled.
“Hey! What's funny, Aela?” I asked.
“Oh, nothing. I'm still not used to this kind of thing, Shie,” I sighed.
“You must be used to this, Aela,” Ayesha said.
“I'll try, Aye,” she nodded.
They allowed me to regain my strength just by resting here in this bench. They waited for me for almost five minutes before I decided to go.
I immediately stood up to get their attention.
“Hey! Why did you stood up, Shie?” Aela asked.
“Let's go now, guys. I still have to prepare my classmates for our professor's announcement later,” they all nodded.
“Are you sure you're alright, Shiela? You can still rest,”
“Yes, I'm alright Ayesha. Don't worry,” she nodded.
“We will just bring you to your room, Ela,” I smiled.
“Thanks, guys,” they all giggled.
As what they've told me, they did brought me to my room and entrusted me to Lorie.
“Lorie, can you please take care of her?” Aela said.
“Sure, no problem, Aela,” she smiled.
“After your second subject, kindly remind her to take her medicines. Is that alright?” she nodded.
“Yes, Adrien. It's alright. I'll remind her later,” he smiled.
“Let her be away from stress, Lor,” she smiled.
“Of course, Ayesha. I'll do everything that I can. Don't worry,” they all nodded.
