The girls were done with cooking, it was quite long but it worth it cos there stomachs were filled. Anna went upstairs, freshened up, wore her red robe, Alexia too went to take her bath.
They played Monopoly, then watched Family reunion on Netflix until it was 9:00pm, immediately Alexia went to bed cause she was so stressed and tired.
Anna went to her room, made sure she was in order as she was about to call him, immediately his call came in, before she picked it she did the sign if the cross, she was quite tensed.
"Hi" Anna said. "Hello" he replied with a bright smile, showcasing his white teeth.
"Why the bright smile, hope there's nothing on my face" Anna said with a curious look as she rubbed her face to check if there was anything on her face.
"No, no, there's nothing on your face, it's just that even at night your face still glows" he said.
"Lol... Thanks for the compliment" she said.
"So are you already with your mum" She asked. "Yes I arrived few hours ago" he replied.
"Damn! I thought you would be going tomorrow, seems her state is critical" Anna said
"Yes, but I know she'll be fine, I know my mum she's a lioness" Leo replied as he smiled a little.
"Mmm, I hope she gets better" she says. "Yh, I hope too" he replied.
"So how was today?" He asked. "Stressful" she replied as she placed a pillow on her back to be comfortable.
"Yh, I can see that on your face" he said. "Damn! Is it that obvious?" Anna asked as she used her blanket to cover her face.
"Hey! Take the blanket off your face you don't look bad tho" Leo said with a giggle.
"Are you sure?" She asked. " Trust me on this one, just take the blanket off. "Ok!" She said
She took off the blanket timidly, gosh! She didn't want to be embarrassed especially in front of Leo.
"That's good, you look stressed so I think I should let you sleep we'll talk tomorrow, so go get some rest"
He said.
"Mmmmm.... Sorry we couldn't talk for long" she said. "Don't apologise if you fall sick then we won't be able to have a video call, so go to bed, Goodnight" Leo said.
" Now you sound like Alexia, Goodnight sleep tight" she said. "Lol, no way.. Good night" he replied.
They both cut the call, Anna went to the bathroom washed her face again and headed straight to bed.
It's morning, the alarm clock rings out loud like a kid (baby goat) about to be killed.
"Ugh" she quickly switched it off. She stood up sluggishly, went to wash her face and headed straight to her best friend's room, Alexia was still in bed she deserved some good rest.
She slowly closed the door and headed straight to the kitchen. She picked up her phone and put on her headset. There's nothing more interesting than listening to music and doing house chores.
After she was done, she headed straight to take her bath, she didn't want to disturb Alexia. Alexia was a boss so she could go anytime she decides to go to work, that was a life of a boss.
