My Girl

One

It was a nice day outside, the sun was bright, kids where playing stick ball, birds chattered amongst themselves in the trees, and the new flowers of spring began to bloom.

I dusted my floury hands on my apron and stuck the bread in the oven. Today was the day I would leave this home.

Every since my mother died I have been treated badly by my father and sisters. But it would all come to an end soon. I grabed all the money I saved up and stuck it in my skirt so no one could steal it. I grabbed some extra clothes and threw them in a suitcase my mother gave to me.

I left leaving my 'family' behind

I clutched the handle of the suitcase. Luckly I bought a train ticket to New York before hand. I greeted the neighbors as I walked by, hoping they wouldn't tell father.

The train sation wasn't to far away so there was nothing to worry about. The sound of peoples voices and the smell of smoke was all I could smell and hear when I apporched the station.

I found the train I was suppose to be on and hopped in. I walked to the cart area where I would be staying. It had a small bed and a chair.

I would be on the train for three days.

Luckly Ms. Dee gave me some oranges to eat. This will be a long ride.

"Meliodas, I'm going on a date with Elaine today so you'll be home alone okay" Ban informs me. I nod and he heads out to go pick up his lady. I wish I had a relationship like that.

They seem so happy together, I use to be in one with Liz but she found a man she loved more. It hurt so bad bcause I thought she'd be the one. I guess I have to wait longer.

I sighed as I sipped my ale.

I sat there for awhile before deciding to go outside. It was a farily nice day for newyork you could say. There was a light breeze that paried perfectily with the sun.

I walked near the town.

Enjoying every bit of this warm spring day.

I walked by a few kids who where playing kick the can. I remebered doing that when I was little. Me and my brothers use to play it all the time.

Little did they both know in a few days something would change their lives
