Richard Russo smiles at his mother who pours the coffee for him, he takes the cup from her hand and watches her sit beside him. Alana dusts off the nonexistent dust off her son's shoulder while staring at his face and Richard raises a brow in question as he shifts to stare at his mother.
"What is it?" he asks knowing she wanted to say something to him.
"When are you going to get married?" she asks and he coughs, slurping the coffee out of his mouth.
Alana gasps as she hurries to grab the napkin to help him clean.
"That's why I never ask her to make coffee for me" Richie voices as he focuses on the paper he reads.
"Unlike you I have a heart which worries for my sons, now that Rare...I mean Ricardo has been happily married to our Gabby don't you think our other sons to should find happiness?" she asks her husband.
"I was married before Ricardo mom" Richard sighs as he pulls his coat out of his body.
"Yes, you were but she is gone now and I don't want to see you waste your life all alone. Think about when Ricardo has a kid, won't it be wonderful if that baby had a cousin to play with?" she points and Richard shakes his head with a smile.
"I am sure in no time Ricardo will have a friend for his own child and if I am correct Gabby does have many niece and nephews. I am sure Ricardo and Gabby's child will not feel lonely" he points.
"What about that girl? Gabby's cousin a storm?" Alana asks in a hurry and Richard sighs.
"Mom" he warns and she smiles politely at him.
"I liked her; a bit mouthy but she will do you good. Someone has to fill in the silence between you two" Alana points making him chuckle.
"I am getting late" Richard points and Alana holds his wrist to stop him from leaving.
"I just want to see you happy" she states.
"I am happy, mom, extremely" he pats on her hand but she does not let him.
"But I..."
"Alana" Richie calls as he puts the paper away and stares at his wife who sighs letting Richard go.
"You don't talk to the boys about settling down and you do not let me do the talking as well" she huffs.
"Let him decide when he wants to settle down and when"
"But I want him to be happy"
"You heard the boy, he is happy"
"At nights" she snaps at her husband who chuckles.
"You really want me to sit down and give my grown-up sons sex education?" he asks her and she pouts.
"Well, handing them condoms will be enough but Richie, even if he says he is happy don't you think it would be nice if he had someone waiting for him at home? Someone that will love and cherish him?" she asks and Richie stands up from his seat and cups his wife's face.
"Don't rush the boys. Remember what happened when we rushed? It created differences and misunderstandings. Richard had once rushed and married someone not fir for him, let's not rush him again" he asks and Alana takes a deep breath before nodding her head.
"I do think that storm girl would fit him well, she does not hide her feelings and that is exactly what Richard deserves someone loving him unconditionally" she points and Richie smiles.
"Love needs to go two ways, now hush and have some breakfast" he asks her.
*******
"There must be something wrong with me" Naomi states as she checks her out in the mirror.
