Aurora's POV

~~~1 1/2 HOURS LATER~~~

As I started to wake up for the second time tonight I wiped the dried up blood off of me

I heard quiet sniffling and slowly turned my neck as I saw Demir balled up crying as he shook back and forth

I was in so much pain and I knew it probably scared him to see me so fucked up right now

I could barely talk because my lip was swollen but I managed

I stood up and walked over to him and placed him in my lap

He started crying harder as I rubbed his little back

I tried to calm him down by saying "mommy is alright...don't worry"

"Sissy not alright......" he sniffled

My heart dropped into the pit of my stomach when I realized Amora was long overdue for her shot

I threw Demir off of me as I scrambled to prepare her shots

I mixed everything up and loaded a needle as quickly as possible and ran into her room

I flipped her over in her bed and checked to make sure she was alive but her heart wasn't beating

I dropped to my knees as tears ran down my face and every single drop of water in me has transformed into a tear as my second daughter laid in her bed lifeless

This happened because of me

Malachi is right I am a fucked up mom

I picked her up and held her in my arms as I cried out in pain

"Nooo baby why did you leave me..." I sobbed dropping to my knees

"No no no no noooooo ... no no no" I cried as I couldn't believe this shit was happening

The doctors warned me this would happen I guess I just never thought it would be real

I thought I could save her and we could help her grow out of her sickness but I fucked up, I didn't protect my daughter

Demir came in the room and gave me a tight hug as he was crying too

"Sorry......I didn't know how to save her" he whispered breaking my heart even more

"This isn't your fault Demir" I said moving the hair out Amora's face and wrapping her in a blanket

Demir and I were both heartbroken and cried for 30 minutes straight

I knew at a time like this there was only one person I can truly call to help me get through this

Durk's POV
I was knocked the fuck out sleep until my phone buzzing woke me up

I slid Nikki out of my arms and saw Aurora was calling me at 6 o'clock in the morning so it must be serious
