I'm going to hurry and finish this story so I can write a completely new one thats wayyyyyyyy better.

Aurora's POV "Damn y'all got a nice ass place" my dad said as we walked in and Durk put the deadbolt on the door
"Pick any guest room you want..." I drifted as he slowly walked around
He picked up a picture of Durk and I that was on the table and said something under his breath

"Huh?" I asked as Durk took Demir upstairs to shower and change
"I said y'all look good together, you gotchu a rich and famous ass nigga huh"
"Somehow..." I joked back
"So how long y'all been together?"
"Eight years and married seven"
He started clapping his hands slowly and said "damn I ain't been in a relationship longer than 8 minutes"
"So was my mom your last relationship before you went to jail?"
"You know what...she was, I went to jail a few days after you were born I think..."
"Were you there when I was born?"
"Of course"
"What about when Von was born?"
"Who?"
"My brother......your son...Dayvon?"
"Oh yeah...of course I was"
"I know he has always wanted to get to know you more...he always wanted a dad growing up...we actually wanted both you and our mom in our lives but obviously that didn't happen........"
I was shocked he got up and pulled me into a hug
He smelled like gasoline and frog vomit but knowing my actual dad was standing there hugging me hid the funk
He pulled away and I tried my best to remember to just breathe through my mouth but my eyes were watering from how bad he smelled
"Well I'm sorry I wasn't there for you growing up Ashley but I'm here now, we have a lot of catching up to do and I'll do my best to be there for my grandson"
"I appreciate that.......and it's Aurora not Ashley"
"Ahhhh shit my bad, you gon have to remind me you know I'm old as all hell"
"No worries...but hey all the guest rooms have showers if you want to take one...I'll have Durk leave you some of his clothes on the bed to change into until we can take you shopping"
