Chapter-13 (Clearing the confusion)

"Sulli-ah.....," DO stood there in utter shock, trying to reason out the scene in front of his eyes.

He didn't know why Kai was so intimate to Sulli, that he would have kissed her if he didn't stop them. His heart was already hurt to see his love being hugged by someone, but it broke to thousand pieces when Kai tightened his grip more around her waist when she tried to release it.

A threatening look scattered from Kai's eyes for disturbing them, where he was already mad that Sulli would be going out with DO; so he maintained his look with DO. As if DO received his message, he spoke up.

"Umm....., I'm sorry for disturbing you. I-I just wanted to talk with Sulli," he looked at Sulli now, "Meet me when you're free. I have to discuss something with you," after finishing, he immediately jetted out with a drowned heart.

After DO's leave, Sulli somehow managed to escape from Kai's hug. She faced him with an expression that showed shock of Kai's sudden behavior and guilt of DO's presence. She din't find any words to say, so she excused to leave the place.

"I-I'm leaving now," she moved, but was immediately stopped by Kai's grab on her wrist.

"I hate doing incomplete works," he said, getting a confused look from her.

"What?" she turned back to him, "What incomplete work?"

He just pulled her and placed a sweet kiss on her cheek as his answer. He could see how red her face turned for just kissing her cheek, but he found it cute. She was shocked to react anything, but woke up from her daze when he muttered, "It's just the beginning; so save this reaction for later, as you will be suffering it more often," he smirked, "Now take your leave, MY BABY DOCTOR," he kissed her cheek once again and went outside his ward.

She plopped down on his bed holding her pounding heart, that is ready to jump out anytime. His words kept replaying in her mind, 'Why did he kiss me?
Does he like me as I do?
Or is he just messing around?
Should I take him seriously?
Can we both have mutual feelings forever?' bunch of questions rooted her mind, still many growing deeply.

DO opened one of his consulting room's draw and took a small red velvet box and sat in the chair, comfortably. He slowly opened the box and took out a nicely curved shining ring, and placed it in his palm.

"Sulli-ah, I thought you liked me, or at least I'll get a chance to make you like me, but now I guess you like someone other than me," his tears began to que his eyes, "W-What the hell I'm thinking?" he wiped his tears using his sleeve, "I don't know what happened and I just saw Kai hugging Sulli. It might be an accident that he might have tripped on her, that made me think he was hugging her for real. I shouldn't doubt Sulli; she's my love and I should not hurt my love, because I'm sure I'll get my love," he consoled himself, his tears dripping one by one down his cheek.

Whatever reason he tried making, he couldn't ignore Kai's death glare to him. DO felt uneasy and possessiveness from Kai's look, sensing that he should avoid them. Though one side of DO's heart told him to leave Sulli for Kai, other side of his heart ordered him to at least confess his feelings to her, so he won't regret later. 'I'm going to confess her this Saturday. Nothing can stop me from that'

"Cheers........," the glass dashed against each other before being sipped by their owners. The loud laughing and noises of them were dissolved in the Dj music produced from the club.

"So congrats, Chen, for your love," Kris raised his glass before drinking.

"I'm happy for you, Chen hyung," Chanyeol exclaimed, "Be happy with your love"
