"Dad I'm fine!" Khai said but Tony ignored her, Looking at the screen. He was watching what happened in Target, Khai didn't even know how he took the videotape. The avengers were in the room as well, Bucky was cursing at himself for letting this happen.
"You need to train," He said and Khai chuckled. "I'm a doctor, not an agent or a super-"
"It's for your own safety!" Tony yelled for the first time at Khai and the avengers gulped looking at each other wondering if they should leave or not, as if Tony can read their mind he glared at them to stay so they can help if anything went south.
"Dad I can take care-"
"Oh really? then why do you look like you're about to piss yourself?" He said pausing the video at her face while she was crying, she cringed at herself. I'm such an ugly crier, uglier than Kim K. She thought, she looked behind her and saw them holding their laugh. "Can you uh yes?" She said rubbing her neck nervously while pointing at the screen.
"Just like your mom," Tony mumbled looking at his ugly crier daughter before playing the video and pausing it again on her crying uglier than the scene before, next thing he knew his friends burst out laughing while his daughter looking at the ground blushing. He rolled his eyes and again played the video and then paused it at one of the men's faces.
"End of discussion, you're gonna train and since Nat is having a bad shoulder Bucky is gonna train you,"Tony said and looked at Bucky, Bucky nodded his head and then looked at Khai. She stood up and flipped bucky and her dad in FRIENDS style before walking away.
"What did she do?" Bucky asked in confusion, "She flipped us off." Tony replied glaring at the door where Khai left. Tony looked back at bucky.
"You can discuss the training time with her," he said before nodding and leaving the screen room. They all left behind him and bucky sighed going to Khai's room and knocking on the door.
"Come in," She said and bucky took a deep breath before entering the room and smiling softly at Khai, She sighed and patted on the bed beside her to bucky, he sat beside her and looked at her.
"Is eight am good for you?" he asked and Khai chuckled before shaking her head, "I jog, how about nine-thirty?" She asked and bucky shrugged.
"You know your dad is doing this because cares about you," Bucky said and Khai sighed before nodding. "Yeah I do," she said before putting her head on bucky's shoulder and closing her eyes. Bucky gulped and didn't know what to do? Is she gonna sleep on my shoulder? he thought but pushed it aside and slowly wrapped his arm around her waist not knowing what to do else. Khai smiled softly and for some reason, she felt safe, peaceful. She needed this even if it was simple yet it calmed her down.
"Can we stay like this for a bit?" she asked and she felt bucky chuckling, "Of course." He replied quietly.
