Also for plot purposes just pretend like any gender can have a dorm room with someone of another.

Y/n's POV

I had just arrived at the college dorms. I was going up the stairs carrying boxes when these two boys began fighting on the stairs. I tried going around them as I didn't want to drop the box when they got physical. They started punching eachother. The one with brown hair bumped into me so I tripped him. I watch as he began to fall. He grabbed onto the blonde one and they both tumbled down the stairs. I tried to hold my laughter in as I continued to hold the box. They got up and glared at me.

"What was that for?!" The one with brown hair yells

"You bumped into me first" I say. They both then began walking up the steps angrily

You know.... if it was just one, I'd fight them but 2 v 1 won't end well so...

I began heading upstairs quickly with a box in my hands. Once I finally got up the stairs, I headed for my dorm room. I could see it. The two boys were on my tail. When I got there I held the box with one hand as I opened the door. I quickly went in and closed the door. Locking it shortly after. I sigh in relief as I set down the box. I turn to see a girl with long black hair and blue eyes staring at me with a smile. Before she could introduce herself someone began banging on the door

It's probably those boys from earlier

I groan as I walk over to the bed and then falling on it.

"Who is that?" She asks

"A couple of idiots" I say as the continue banging on the door. She walks over to the door and unlocks it. She then opens the door

"Could you two stop banging on the door?" She asks

"O-Oh I'm sorry" one of them says

"Go on a date with me" The other says

"I'm flattered but I have to decline" She says

"O-oh that's fine" The same guy says

"Is that all?" She asks

"Y-yeah" They both stutter.

"Okay, I'm gonna close the door now" She says as she closes the door. She then turns to me

"Why were they banging on the door?" She asks

"They were taking up the stairs and then had the audacity to bump into me while they got into a fist fight. So I tripped them" I say. She sighs

"You shouldn't do things like that" She says

"It was self defense" I say

"Mhm... sure" She says as she begins unpacking her boxes

"So I'm guessing we're roommates" I say

"That would be correct... I'm Frieda Reiss" She says as she tucks some of her hair behind her ear

"Y/n L/n" I say

~1 month later~

"Freida how do you manage to get all A's?" I ask frustrated
