Everyone was mesmerized by him. One feature or another, everybody was ebtranced.

Whether it be his beautiful brown eyes with specs of purples and blues and reds, his slightly chubby cheeks that were dusted with a sweet rose color, his bright orange hair that was always fluffy to the touch, or his award winning smiles.

Sometimes, even the fact he was stupid was likable.

He was always happy. No matter the situation, he lit up the room. No matter how sad you were, he could turn that frown upside down.

Nobody expected this.

Nobody.

Their stomachs dropped.

"You should be fine, just a little stomach ache never hurt anybody right?"

"Its just a little bruise! Don't worry!"
"Hes right. It's just a bruise"

Why didnt they do something.

Look past his smiles, demand answers, hang out with him more, anything.

They never expected this.

It was like the sun suddenly died. No warnings whatsoever.

Maybe the warnings were the flashes of purples and reds that they never questioned.

Or his lack of any other emotion that wasnt happiness.

Only one person saw behind this.

Only one person saw that he was just like anybody else.

Nobody.

Nobody else could.

They held their expectations too high once he was seen smiling.

They held their expectations up too high when they felt him light up a room.

They held these expectations till the end.

And these expectations...

Oh, these little things?

These expectations that seem so harmless?

Oh, yeah!

They killed him!

They took the sunshine out of everyone's life.

Just because they wouldn't let the sunshine become any other human being for once.

They wanted to deny it.

But they all knew it was true.

Only one person saw the sadness hidden in his eyes.

Only one person.

And that was because they were the same.

Everyone was amazed by his looks.

Like the other.

Everyone was amazed by his skills, nobody could beat.

Almost like the other, but he could be beaten by the other.

Oikawa Tooru and Hinata Shouyou.

A very unlikely pair.

Once they saw him.

There was a cut.

And it would never heal.

There was nothing anybody could do to ease the pain, except try to forget.

Forget him. Forget the past.

It's all in the past. It doesn't matter now.

It doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter how they saw their sunshine in the spot he wouldnt want them to.

It doesn't matter how they saw the same for their playboy setter.

It doesn't matter how they were close.

It doesn't matter how they were close until the end, when they were ripped apart.

It doesn't matter how they saw the blood drain from their bodies.

It doesn't matter how frantic they were to patch them up.

It doesn't matter that they know they did this.

It doesn't matter, how they had to watch him on his death bed. Crying for the one person he wanted. For the one person who could help him.

It doesn't matter now.

Because it's in the past.

They should get over it.

Yo! Felt like some angst haha! Around halfway through I thought abt making this an actual fic I put effort into but idk. I guess the point of this is to treat everyone equally. No matter how they seem. Everyone experiences sadness more than once. Everyone cries. Another point, the ending, is that no matter how long ago something was, little or small, it can still haunt you. No matter how traumatic. Go check up on your friends, please.

Be happy while it lasts, because it wont for long. Or, maybe it will, and you're sad now. Either way.
