APRIL 11
LOOP 4

LUNA DRAGGED HERSELF down the stairs in a bit of a haste when she woke up the next morning with the same reoccurring headache she knew all too well.

The hairs on the back of her neck rose when she heard the mutters and grumbles of a woman from the kitchen, along with some clattering noise. When she made her way into the kitchen, all she unfortunately saw was the back of Jang-Mi, who was muttering frustrated words to herself.

"What day is it?" Luna asked so abruptly that Jang-Mi swore she would have died right then and there from a heart attack.

"Goodness!" she clutched her hand over her chest as she held the damn broken blender in her other hand. "April 11th! Why?"

Luna's face fell in concentration as she simply nodded, her eyebrows furrowing together. She turned around to go back upstairs so that she could get ready, but Jang-Mi's voice filled her ears once again.

"Don't forget about the-!"

"Dry cleaning, I know," Luna bitterly muttered and walked out, leaving Jang-Mi in a state of confusion along with her grandmother whom she had just brushed past.

-

Luna nervously fiddled her fingers on her steering wheel as she drove her car to the dry cleaning place.

I'm reliving the same day, I don't know how or why, but I'm going to figure it out. I need to. Maybe if I try to live today different? Will something happen?

With that mindset, Luna stepped on her accelerator with determination and made her way to the dry cleaning store to get her uniform and go to work early without interruption. Perhaps if her boss let her out early, she could go home without volunteering at the hospital. She would probably have to gas though, but she could find a different place. Maybe she did something wrong on her past days of repeat that triggered it?

After retrieving her uniform, she made her way back to the car, purposely ignoring the clacking of the shaking of spray paint bottles, followed by the sound of paint being sprayed from the bottles. She only continuing walking, quite quickly, until a familiar voice stopped her.

"Luna?" the voice said and she hesitantly stopped in her tracks, turning around to meet eyes with Taehyung, wearing his black hood with a few paint splatters on it.

"Oh, hey, Taehyung!" she shot him a smile, not quite reaching her eyes. She fixed her dry cleaning hanger on her wrist and looked at her watch, hopefully to send the message she was in a bit of a hurry.

"What are you doing here?" he tilted his head and smiled a bit.

"Dry cleaning," she raised her arm a bit to show him the clothes.

"Right, forgot you were-"

"Forgot I was rich, yes, I know, thank you," she awkwardly chuckled. "I have to go get going, bye Taehyung!" she waved at him slightly before turning around and walk away, leaving Taehyung standing on the sidewalk a bit confused.

-

Luna had changed into her uniform and gotten out of the bathroom without bumping into Hoseok like usual, because she was early. Though, seeing him was inevitable, because at the end of the day, they did work at the same place and Luna was the person Hoseok was closest to at work.

"Luna!" she heard his chirpy voice as she was cleaning the counter. The busy lunch hour had just finished and there weren't many customers. "I haven't been able to talk to you all day. You were here early!" he pointed out, grabbing a towel as well so that he can clean with her.

"Yeah, hoping to leave early today," she explained.

"Do you have a date or something?" Hoseok teased, and she only laughed in response. She couldn't really explain that she wanted to go home early so she could try to figure out why she kept reliving the same day. She wasn't quite sure he would understand.

After her boss let her leave a few hours earlier, she started walking to her car, where she expected that boy to be standing in front of the music store.

And he was. His orange hair, his hands in the pockets of his jeans, he was identical to the past times she saw him, with the same bitter look on his face. Despite being there about two hours earlier, he was still there standing. She was really curious about him, why he looked so sad because of a piano. Was he a pianist before?

Though, she didn't want to take the time to answer these questions because she had a few problems of her own already.

Trying to find another gas station didn't work. There was only one way across town and if she wanted to get home early, she was going to have to go to the same one, with Namjoon. Which she didn't mind, but it was always a bit awkward for her to talk to someone she knew already while he had no memory of her.

She pulled up into the gas station, the usual eerie, flickering lights weren't on yet because nightfall was yet to come and it was still sunset.

"Hello," Luna said to Namjoon who had bent over to speak to her through the window. "Regular diesel, please," she asked. She didn't want to make time for conversation because it would be a waste, and she really needs to get home.

After she had paid and thanked Namjoon, she had drove back out into the city, where the setting sun had painted many of the tall buildings orange.

How can I stop this? Is there something I'm doing that triggers this? Is there something I'm not doing?

After Luna turned into a smaller street as a shortcut, she nearly had a heart attack as she pressed the brake harshly, her body jolting in the process. She had almost hit someone, someone who crossed the street in a haste.

She looked up to see a boy, standing in front of her car in shock too. Except he really looked familiar.

Seokjin.

He only looked at her, panting a bit before he started to jog away. Her eyes followed him as he ran down the street, obviously in a hurry to get somewhere. She hesitantly stepped on the accelerator and continued driving home.

That was odd.

Luna let out a sigh of relief as she stepped out of her car, glancing at her house in front of her. The sky was getting darker, the sun having set on her way home. She couldn't wait to get inside the comfort of her home and start to figure out why her life was on repeat.

She draped her bag over her shoulder before making her way to her house, the sprinklers on her lawn spraying water on the wide grass.

Her feet stopped in its tracks when she felt a familiar feeling in her gut. The feeling of her stomach drop, the intense gravity on her shoulders as her vision began to blur.

Not again...

She caught herself as she collapsed onto the floor before the last thing she heard was the piercing sound of the intense breaking of glass.
