Inazuma Eleven [Reader insert] "Let's Play Soccer!"

After a long hour of my least favorite class the bell finally ring for the end of school, most of people heading toward their club for the activities and practices.

Meanwhile... I'm in no club at all, I tried joining the athletic club but my stamina isn't the best, I even tried the basketball club but they were full of toxic people so i secretly left the tryouts.

I could go back home but i would be bored to death, I stood up from my seat and grabbed my bag then left the school building.

"I decided.. I'll be trying more clubs today! And if somehow i end up not finding a good one, I'll just give up." I thought.

I was about to walk toward a random club until...

"[F/N]!" Someone shouted my name, I turn around and see Gouenji.

Right... I was supposed to go home with him, since my parents are barely home, they are often busy helping an orphanage that I used to visit as a kid.

My memories are very vague during that time of my childhood, so I really don't remember much.

But I stopped to go there due to school, my parents would get worried and often ask Gouenji to bring me back home safely.

"Hi Gouenji!" I wave and walk up to him.

"You didn't forget i'm the one bringing you back home right?" He smirk.

"Of course not! Haha..." I laughed awkwardly.

Gouenji sigh. "Were you going to join a club?" He asked.

"Yeah, I mean staying all day at home alone is cool and nice but.. I wanna do something exciting!" I responded.

"Yeah, but maybe another day. The sun is gonna set soon. Your parents won't be so happy about hearing that you came home late." Said Gouenji.

"Fine.." I pout.

Me and Gouenji are friends ever since we were born, our both parents are very closed since they are both doctors, but ever since Gouenji lost his mother, his father has been very strict but strong for his family.

But an accident happened that made Gouenji stopped playing a sport, he really liked.. Soccer.

Me and Gouenji arrived at the riverbank, I spot a group of elementary students playing soccer with someone i know from my class. Endou Mamoru.

I heard he was the captain of the soccer club and a goalkeeper, but their team was incomplete and didn't had enough players.

I stopped walking to observe the practice.

"[F/N]?" Gouenji stops too noticing I was watching the practice.

"Just one minute." I smiled.

Gouenji smiles and nod. "Okay."

I was watching the kids dribbling freely with the soccer ball and arrives on front of the goal and tries to shoot, but the ball goes to another direction and almost hit two men's, but they dodged in time.

"Wich jerk kicked in the ball?!" Shouted one of the man.

Endou goes toward them. "Are you alright? I'm so sorry." He bowed at the two men's, Endou was about to ask to return the ball until one of the man kick in Endou's stomach.

"Endou!-" I was about to interfere until Gouenji stops me from it.

The other man sits on the ball, I could notice Gouenji staring at the scene in anger but he was trying to stay calm to avoid any problems.

The man tells something to Endou that I couldn't hear, then he stands up and spit on the soccer ball, he shoots in the ball toward a little girl.

Gouenji jumped at the ball and kicked it back toward the men's, the ball hit one of them on the face.

"Yasui!" The man hold his friend that got knocked out from Gouenji's shoot.

My eyes widen as my mouth opened in shock, I knew that Gouenji was strong but not to the point that he was able to destroy someone's face that easily.

Gouenji glares at the man making them run away like cowards, the little girl thanked Gouenji for saving her, Gouenji look at the girl with a warm smiled and was about to walk toward the stairs to join me until Endou runs to Gouenji.

"Wait! Your kicks is amazing! Do you play soccer? Hey, wich school are you from? If you'd like, we can practice together!" Said Endou.

Gouenji gave him a cold look then ignored him and walked up to me.

"Let's go." Said Gouenji.

"Yeah.." I replied and followed Gouenji, he could've atleast be a bit nicer to other people around his age other than me.

After a long walk we finally arrived at my home.

"Thank you Gouenji!" I looked at him.

"No worries, make sure to rest and not stay up too late." He said with a smile.

"I will!" I replied.

Gouenji nod and leaves, I stood there thinking about something..

Maybe.. I should play soccer.

"It's decided!" I smiled proudly.

[The next day/Morning]

"AAAAAH?!"

Yelled Endou putting his hands on one of his classmates head after seeing Gouenji entering the classroom, it also shocked me since Gouenji didn't told me was going to this school.

"What? You guys know each other?" Asked the teacher.

"No, it's not really like I know him.." answered Endou and put his hands away from that poor boy that was getting crushed.

|After class|

I walked toward Gouenji's desk. "Why didn't you tell me anything?" I asked a bit angry that he hide this from me.

"Sorry, but it was a surprise we can say." Smile Gouenji.

"It sure surprised me indeed." I sigh.

"Gouenji! I didn't manage to introduce myself properly yesterday!" Said Endou who magically appeared behind me. "I'm Endou Mamoru! The captain of the soccer club, my position is goalkeeper, do you two wanna join the team?" Asked Endou looking at me and Gouenji.

"Actually Endou! I'll think about joining your club!" I said going on front of Endou to avoid any conversation about soccer with Gouenji.

"Really?! Have you played before--"

"Endou!" Someone shouted and ran toward Endou. "Fuyukai is looking for you, he wants you at the principal office!" he said.

Me and Gouenji look at each other, he does a sign with his hand to say "Thank you."

"Seems like they have something important to tell you, I have a bad feeling about it. Maybe it's about disbanding the club." Said the boy to Endou.

"D-disbanding ?!" Yelled Endou in panick.

Me and Gouenji looked at Endou with a concerned look about the "Disbanding the soccer club", It's quite rare that some sport club get disbanded that soon on the first days of school.

"Don't joke around! I'm not letting them disbanding our club!" Said Endou and left the classroom.

"Do you think they'll be okay?" I asked.

"It's not our problem [F/N]." Replied Gouenji.

"You say that but I can clearly read you like a book, you are worried about that soccer club. Am I right?" I said.

Gouenji remained silent and watched the sky by the window.

"I'll be taking some fresh air, call me if you need anything." I said and walked out of the classroom.
