Prologue

        Soleil Sprout was your average Ravenclaw; clever, responsible, confident...and also the daughter of the Herbology teacher, Professor Sprout. Soleil is enjoying her life in her fourth year at Hogwarts until her life is disrupted by the distraction called Neville Longbottom.

        For the past 16 years of her life, Soleil has been taught about nature. From composing daisy crowns to preparing organic meals, she had all she wanted with her mother, Pomona, by her side. Soleil's father passed at her prime age of 6. Since then, it had just been her and Pomona. They often spent their days at Minerva McGonagall's resident. Pomona and Minerva had been inseparable since their days at Hogwarts. So close, in fact, Soleil has the privilege of calling Minerva her godmother.

         Her first couple of years at Hogwarts had not been easy on Soleil. From having to realize the difference between her mother and Professor Sprout, to keeping up with her grades, to making friends and enemies. She definitely has her wits about her, referring to the first friends she made. She met her best friend, Iris Trelawny in her first year, both terrified of the years to come. Both terrified of the expectations of the "teacher's kids", using this to their advantage and becoming the bests of friends. Soleil's mom even mentions the two remind her of Minerva and herself back in their days at Hogwarts.

        She and Iris' second year, they encountered the arrogant Draco Malfoy bullying a first-year in an empty corridor. They immediately got the boy away from the situation, glaring at Malfoy and his crew the entire time. The boy introduced himself as Ezra McKinley and joined Iris and Soleil in their group. They became known as the Bronze Trio, to themselves, anyway. They have been each other's support system till the end, knowing they could rely on each other in their darkest times.

        She now continues into her fourth year, with Iris and Ezra by her side. She feels comfortable with her and her mother's relationship and happy with her reputation.
