"Hello, I'm Y/N L/N."  You spoke proudly to the boy in front of you.  He had his head down so you couldn't really catch a glimpse of his face. He was all by himself, alone with no parent nearby. Actually, there wasn't anyone nearby just you two alone together. He wanted to catch a glimpse of you so his eyes looked up at you and you looked down at him. His gaze met yours and he saw how lit your eyes were. They sparkled from the sunshine. Your smile was so wide that it made him flustered.

'Is this what happiness looks like?' he thought to himself as he didn't respond to you. He began to kick his legs back and forth to make himself go higher on the swing.  There was an empty one on his right side so you decided to sit there. Although you both were still children, you knew how to communicate with other people. You didn't understand emotions yet so there was no way you could know how he felt. He didn't have a wide smile like you or even a sparkle in his eyes.  They were dull.

"Not much of a speaker eh?" you spoke up as you began to kick your legs back and forth.

Silence filled the atmosphere around you both. The sun shone brighter, the skies were filled with different shapes of clouds. A perfect scenery for a new friendship.

You continued to swing along with him, you laughed at him for not speaking or showing any emotions. You were happy even though he didn't seem fazed. Until he suddenly stopped. His fragile eyes looked at you as you were preparing to stop as well.

He spoke up with a delightful voice.

"I'm Kiyoomi Sakusa."

Before you got a chance to say something back he stood up and ran. Ran as if his life depended on it. He ran as if there was no tomorrow. All you could think of was "why?".
