No matter how thick the book was, it could not keep her attention for long enough. The words began to blur together as her attention moved towards the group of teenagers that always visited now and then.

This caught the attention of one of her oldest friends, Kisuke. He was one of the people she could never figure out. Optimistic. Jovial. Eccentric. Yet he could be cunning. Sarcastic. Serious. Though, she never saw anything other than his usual peppy self.

"Interested, eh?" He hummed, leaning over her shoulder before noticing the book in her hand.

"Hm? No. Just concerned." She replied, shutting her book before facing his way.

"Why is that?" Kisuke asked, his fan flicking open, "Does this have to do with their goal?"

This took her by surprise and frankly, she didn't know the answer. Kisuke never pried into her thoughts unless he felt it was important to do so. It wasn't her business nor did she intend to make it her business. At least, not until Kisuke made it her business.

Lilianna knew that their person of interest was not a rule-breaker, given what family she is from and what was expected of her. Lilianna was the same- no, they were both the same. Following what needed to be done, even if it was against their own. Yet, the crime of her actions did not justify the need for death.

Their goal was understandable, but not to her. Small bits of rage began to build up until it just disappeared. A deep inhale soon released as she is now faced with said group, her eyes faced with the ginger of the group.

"No, Kisuke. It has nothing to do with their goal at all." Something about the boy's eyes captivated her. Not in a romantic way, but a determined one. One all too familiar.

"You wouldn't have a problem with going with them, then?"

She pauses, her strong gaze breaking before a deep sigh rolls out, "No. Not at all." Lilianna turns back, grabbing her bag before brushing past the group.

A wave of relief washes over her as she spots her sister, Yoruichi. There she stood in front of the open portal, a few seconds on the ticking clock. It was now time to go. Lilianna takes a glance back at Kisuke, a small but nervous smile creeping on her face. He smiles back, a small wave accompanies it before hiding behind that infamous fan.

Everything rushed by quickly, the tension thick enough to cut with a Zanpakuto. She still couldn't focus, not after agreeing to what she promised herself not to do. Yet, saying no was not an option. Why couldn't she? That was a question she needed time for; time that they didn't have.

A shout arose from behind her, one of the boys of the group, Uryu Ishida got himself caught. His screams rang in her ears, slinging her bag over her before falling back. Her hands catch onto his shoulder, attempting to rip the white cloth. Another one of the boys, Chad helps her, a loud rip tearing into the air as the material shrivels into the gigantic sphere behind them.

The Kototsu rolled at them with overwhelming ferocity, such power that made their running pace seem like a light jog. Her heart began to race, the feeling of her light lunch rolling up her throat. This was it. Thoughts of death loomed over her as she thought her fate would end here, crushed by a giant rolling ball.

"Hinagiku, Baigon, and Lily! Santen Kesshun, I reject!" The once soft voice of the girl, Orihime left as she summoned her fairies, a triangular shield appears as it halts the Kototsu a small bit. It still wasn't enough as the shield began to crack from all directions.

A blinding light shined through at the end of the tunnel, a glimmer of hope arising in everyone, " We are almost there. Can you hold on for a bit longer, Orihime?" Lilianna asked, preparing herself for what's happening next.
