[Vic]
"Hey Kellin," I paced outside, on the phone with Kellin.
"Hey baby! What's up?!"
"We should go out tonight," I said in a serious tone. I knew I couldn't ask Jaime out before I broke up with Kellin, and I knew I couldn't stay with Kellin knowing I could have my wonderful Jaime, so there was only one option... tell Kellin it's over. I wasn't one of those jerks to do it over the phone at least. This was going to be a surprise for Jaime, he had no clue what I was doing, and I planned on doing something amazing with him before asking him out.
"Okay, sure! Where to?" Kellin was so happy, and I felt kind of bad knowing what I was going to do to the boy. But Jaime was most certainly worth it.
"I'll pick you up, nothing special 'kay?" I didn't want to make Kellin think we were doing something great when it would just end badly... and I'd save the amazing places for when I'm with Jaime.
"Okay babe!" I laughed then said bye, hanging up.

I was sat across from Kellin, very few others sat around us.
"So Vic, any reason we're here?" Kellin smiled. I twiddled my thumbs, my shoulders tense. I never liked hurting anyone, and though I wasn't sure how Kellin would take it, I really didn't want to cause a scene either.
"Uhm..." I put up my hand to signal over the waitress, procrastinating. "May I have another water?" I held my glass up to the blonde waitress.
"Of course! And would you like anything more sir?" She turned her attention to Kellin, who shook his head.
"No thank you!" He smiled politely, and when the waitress walked away he turned back to me. "You were saying?" He laughed.
"Yeah uhm... so uh... Kellin,"
"Go ahead Vic?" Kellin urged me on.
"I ah... I don't think... I don't think that this," I gestured to the two of us, "is working out..." Kellin sat there in silence for a minute.
"So what you're saying is you want to break up?" Kellin asked in a calm voice, still with a smile on his face. I nodded. "Well okay," he smiled, but I could tell he was biting back tears.
"I'm sorry Kellin..." I patted his hand softly and smiled. We had already finished eating, so I called over the waitress and asked for the bill. That had gone better than expected. I payed and we stood up, and I pulled Kellin in for a hug then smiled. We walked out, and I drove back, dropping Kellin off first. I walked in the bus to find nobody home, perfect.

'romantic places near toronto' I typed into my computer. That's where we were off to next. That or I could wait to do it somewhere I knew better, but I REALLY did not want to wait. I read through the results then I made the realisation... we had a day between playing there and the next date, in New York... if I got the others in on it... maybe we could stop in Niagara Falls? I'd ask about it when they got home, and our manager was out too, so I couldn't ask him yet either.
