[Prompt: The plane took off without any problems, and after a couple of maneuvers, was heading to its destination. But when it went through a cloud, the pilot realized that they couldn't get out. They were stuck inside the cloud.]
Millie, the blonde, tapped her heels against her chair as she glared outside her window. "The cloud seems endless," she said in awe as her green and purple eyes glowed.
Vanessa slightly turned her head as she peaked past Millie's head. "I suppose it is," she said in a low tone. She stood up from her seat and walked to Presta, who sat in front of her. Tapping Presta's shoulder, she told her to start her prayers.
Presta closed her eyes, clasped her hands, bowed her head, and began her prayers. Her long, brown hair swayed over her face, covering her moving lips.
Other passengers saw their actions. They started to squirm about wondering what was happening. They even tried to ask Presta. Vanessa blocked off their attempted interruptions.
As Presta finished her prayers, Wallace and Brole hopped towards the girls. "It's time," Wallace announced quietly to the group. He motioned his fingers, signaling the group to follow him.
They stood in front of the doorway.
The flight attendances whispered amongst themselves, wondering what they were doing. Wallace reached for the handle. One flight attendant ran to them and told me to stop. Brole stepped in the way. His muscles became a wall. "I suggest everyone to buckle down. It'll get rough from here." The flight attendant tried to speak, but with one step forward from Brole, everyone did as he told.Britta, a curly haired girl, came running up to them out of breath. "I'm not late, am I?"
"Just in time," Presta reassured Britta.
"I still can't believe she is our leader," Vanessa groaned as she stared down at the short girl.
"Doesn't matter," Wallace commented. He turned the hatch. "Time to jump into the belly of the beast!"
The door slid open, and all of them besides, Britta was sucked out of the plane. Britta walked unaffected by the wind to the door and closed it.
"No need to fear," Britta told the screaming passengers. "Everything will be taken care of from here on out."The announcement came on from the cockpit.
"We apologize for any turbulence that may occur. Arrival at the destination is slightly delayed. Please stay seated and buckled tightly."Britta rubbed her head and shook it in disappointment. "A little late for that," she breathed.
Britta asked the flight attendant if she could talk through the announcements. When they let her, she explained the situation to them.
"Some of you may be wondering what is going on, including the pilots," she started. "But I assure all of you, this will be handled quickly. No longer than 5 minutes to be more precise."The passengers leaned on their sides to see who was speaking. A man shouted, "Hey, kid! Cute story, but how about letting the adults tell us what's going?" Another person added, "What are attendants even doing, letting a kid talk on the system?" Slowly, the whole area became a loud mess.
Britta cleared her throat. "I understand. Then, let me tell you a better story. We flew in the mouth of the creature. It is slowly digesting as we speak. Belonging in the Order of Voids, Family of Loops, this creature is a Cloud Loop Void. There are others similar to it, such as Lake and Mist Loop Voids. Any surface area of theirs is an opening for things to enter and things to exit. I'll let your imagination make sense of that."
As Britta explained the creature, the others regained their formation by clinging to each other by the hands. They continued to fall in as a ring.
