All three of them were staring at Harry, and just behind him was a little blob of red hair.

"Teddy! Victoire!" Lily came out of Harry's shadows and ran towards Teddy, attempting to give him a giant hug with her small arms. Teddy accepted, still confused why they were in Hogsmeade. Harry came up to the table they were sitting at.

"What are you--."

"What are you doing here?"

Teddy asked, cutting Harry off, with a puzzled look.

"I have to go do something, Auror business," he said promptly. Teddy was used to this, Harry would usually be out catching some culprit who was doing dark magic, or undercover trying to find things out. It would always be 'auror business,' and they wouldn't receive any other information besides that. It would somewhat make sense, but the fact that Lily was there.

"I'm his assistant!" She said cheerfully. Teddy gave a weak smile, knowing there is no way that would be true.

Harry laughed and explained, "Ginny's coaching, and Albus is at Ron's place. I had to pick something up from a certain someone, here in Hogsmeade. Lily insisted on getting Butterbeer so here we are."

Lily left to the front of the shop asking Madam Rosmerta for a Butterbeer, and paying with the coins she had in her hand.

"I'll be dropping her off at the burrow, and will be off to where I need to be," Harry finally explained, giving out no information on what mission he was up to.

Teddy gave a weak laugh, "Just tell me there isn't a killer on the loose here in Hogsmeade."

Harry smiled, "No, no killer. It's all safe. The real question, what are you doing here?" He finally acknowledged the others sitting at the table. He gave a slight nod to Victoire and turned to Mary looking puzzled just like before.

"Er, this is Mary, Mary Macdonald."

Harry brought his hand out, and started, "Nice to meet--," and immediately stopped. His eyes widened, "Mary Macdonald?" He asked.

She gave a smile, and introduced herself again, raising her hand to shake it with Harry. Lily returned sipping her Butterbeer and sat in a chair behind the table they were sitting at. Teddy explained to Harry how they met a month ago, and they've been talking. He wanted to stay badly and talk to Mary, after all, she was best friends with his mother. It was about ten minutes later when he exchanged phone numbers with Mary and apologized for not being able to sit with them. He was already late to wherever he needed to be, and Lily was only making him later.

"Please, please, please!"

"Lily, we have to go, now. You will have grans and Hugo is currently at the Burrow too, you'll have company."

Lily wanted to stay with Teddy and Victoire at Three Broomsticks. Who wouldn't, Teddy thought. It had been about three hours since they had left Hogwarts.

"Fine, if you don't let me stay, I'll tell mum you broke and lost the new china she had bought," Lily blackmailed him. Typical Lily. Mary gave a silent laugh, but Teddy and Victoire were used to the eight-year-old's ultimatums all the time. She was all sweet and cute from the outside but knew exactly how to make things end in her way.

Harry gave her a motherly stare, but in the end what power did he have on his hands?

"Is that okay with you, Teddy?"

"Yeah! It's fine!" Secretly he loved spending time with Lily, after all she was his favorite little Potter.

"Alright, I'll be back in three hours at the most," he said, handing Lily a bag, "Then I'll take you to Gran's, where you will spend the night, okay?" Lily nodded, still smirking. He hugged her and said goodbye to everyone and left.
