I rode my car around the Country Side- more of a Valley, perhaps.
The usual, everyday, I'd ride my car all around. Giving my baby a little test drive and air. The Valley was known for it's wonderful, cologne-like, fresh air. I was impressed by it. And moved in to Weasenham Town.
Though the Valley has many Towns. Weasenham was the only Town my Mom and Dad agreed for me to stay. I couldn't argue, Weasenham has many people, the population is more than a hundred. So it's quite suffocating in the small Town.
While riding my car, I got into a small accident and hit a tree on my way home. The car wasn't a wreck, it can still be fixed, but all the tires were flatter than a pancake. So I walked around and looked for help.
I have been walking for the past few minutes and still haven't found any help. Just great... Until I stumbled across a Town. Very far from where my car crashed. The hill was steep, but I managed to slide down normally.
"Welcome to Pelican Town," was what the sign said. Pelican Town, quite a weird name to name a Town.
Without further to do, I entered the small Town. Pretty small, the population isn't quite tight, the place is more like a ghost town.
"Hey," A woman's voice started. It startled me, I turned around and see a woman with green hair. "You must be new here."
"Geez, don't scare me like that!" I raised my voice on her.
"Oh sorry, my bad." She apologised.
"That's ok. I'm not new here, I'm just looking for help, my car crashed." I explained to her the situation.
"Oh dear, it's quite a relief that you're alright." She said, "There's a Joja Mart right over there. You can buy supplies to fix you're ruined car."
"Thank you so much for the help." I thanked her and shook her hand.
"It is not a problem, please, come visit the Town anytime you like! We'd love some visitors now and then."
I gave her a small nod and waved goodbye. I headed to the direction she was pointing and found a blue-white building. It stands out very much from the wooden, nature, and small Town. Guessing the company came from the City, Zuzu City.
Joja Corp. was known to be the most popular and rich company. I don't know how they did it, but I'm quite impressed by their success.
That was until I found out the truth.
Turns out, the company was sued for scamming a bunch of people. A lot reported about the company. But, unluckily for them, the company was rich and had a way out. They were no longer in trouble and continued their horrible scheme.
I guess this Joja would do the same.
I took one step inside, and the smell of nauseating bleach replaced the cologne-like air. It made me feel dizzy, but I had to stay strong for me to get back to my home Town.
"Ahh a new face! Come come!" A fat man led me to a small counter. He wore a red bow tie, his black hair swept to the side, and his glasses brightens up, hurting my eyes. His name plate was shown: Manager, Morris Qin.
Well great...
"I'm Morris, manager of this Joja Mart. Would you like to buy our Joja membership? It gives you 10% discount of every item in the place! And Mayor Lewis promised us if anyone were to buy it, we would replace the old Community Centre into a Joja Warehouse. Isn't that wonderful? Only 5,000g."
...
"No thanks, I'm good." I said. I then walked away in shock of what I just heard.
5,000g?! Are they crazy?! Only for 10% Discount?! Their items are very expensive, the discount would be worthless!
