At lunch break, Jeno was called by the principal. It was Mark who told him as he was the class president so mister Moon might have told him first. The vampire gave Mark a smile and thanked him before he left Donghyuck alone in the hallway. He started making his way through the students, towards the stair case that would lead him to Miss Kim's office. Jeno already knew why he was called and he had to fight the urge to smile. So she found out that he wanted to take Jaemin out of the school campus, the vampire thought as he walked down the stairs.

Many students were going back to the dorm, where the lunch would be served, so the corridors were filled with people and, in some cases, some of the vampires that were his classmates in the evening classes. Jeno bowed a bit in sign of hello at a vampire called Felix, who was one of his classmates. The red haired vampire waved at him before he walked away and got lost in the crowd of students.

When Jeno arrived at the ground floor, he took the right corridor instead of following the students outside of the building. As usual the corridor was dark and silent, as if no one walked there at all. He walked by the teachers' office and spotted no one inside. Looking away from the open door, Jeno walked forward, towards the pair of massive doors that were placed at the end of the long and dark corridor. He stopped and knocked at one of them. The vampire didn't have to wait too long as mister Moon opened the door from inside, letting his student enter the big room.

Miss Kim was already seated at her desk, looking paler than usual. She didn't look at the young vampire as he entered and stopped few meters in front of her. The woman was busy writing something that resembled a letter.

"I heard you want to go home for the weekend." Miss Kim spoke coldly and when her eyes met his, Jeno felt shivers down his spine. She knew something, that's why her usual gloomy face was now filled with anger. "I also heard you want to take some of your friends."

"Yes, I thought we could hang out at my place since I'm going." Jeno replied in a polite manner. He didn't want to seem more suspicious than he already was in her eyes.

"May I know who?" Miss Kim left the golden pen she was writing with earlier on the desk and rested her chin in her palm. Her eyes almost became silver while she scanned the young vampire with interest.

"Well Donghyuck is coming with me. Also Renjun seemed interested in changing the atmosphere for the weekend so I agreed to let him come along." Jeno paused and looked at mister Moon, who was standing by the door. The short vampire was glaring at him as usual, as if he was always in a bad mood. The brunette looked away from him, back at Miss Kim. "Also, Jaemin wanted to come as well."

When he saw that the woman flinched, Jeno had to hide his smile. So she didn't know at all? Damn, she was blind as hell. Of course, since Miss Kim didn't know he already found out about Jaemin's little secret, the brunette had to play innocent and confused.

"They can come right? It would be boring to go home alone after I made such wonderful friends." Jeno blinked with innocence, trying to show her that he really wanted them to come with him. "You told my mother that I could go home in the weekends so I thought..."

"You can go." Miss Kim interrupted him and showed a fake smile. "But Jaemin has something to attend to this weekend so he won't be able to tag along. Maybe another time."

Jeno showed disappointment and looked at his shoes. He knew very well that his roommate had nothing to do that weekend, so that meant Miss Kim was scared to let him out of his cage.

"Then maybe he will be able to come next time." The brunette showed a small smile when he looked up at her. "At least the other two are coming."

"Right." Miss Kim nodded and glanced behind him, at mister Moon. "Make him a letter of approval for tonight. You'll be back on Sunday night."
