Into The Night

Chapter One

I began to sprint through the forest far north of LakeTown. I turned around to look behind me as I tripped over a tree root and fell flat on my face. I groaned as a light blonde wolf twice the size of a full grown man placed a freakishly large paw on my back keeping me laying on my stomach in pain as the paw crushed me slowly. I slowly looked at the wolf's muzzle and I looked back at the ground in terror. I looked up again and in front of me was a snarling, growling, wrinkled with anger, wolf ready to snap.

"Emmy! Get up! Time for school!" My older brother Luke called out from downstairs. My eyes fluttered open. I felt like crap. My head was pulled up by Luke. "Wakey wakey lil' sis! Ready for your first day of high school?!" He basically screamed into my ears. I was outraged at him. "LUKE MOM HAS TOLD U WHO KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES THAT I HAVE EXTRA ORDINARILY SENSITIVE HEARING!!!!!" I yelled at him. He laughed while shaking his head like a dog trying to dry his hair.

I moaned and yawned as I got out of bed and got ready for school. "Goodbye." I said as I walked out the door and ran to my bus stop.

I was shocked as I stood in awe staring at LakeTown High School. "This place is huge..." I whispered. A group of jocks came up to me and pushed me out of their way. One of them was attractive with medium brown hair piled on top of his head. He was the one that pushed me. A burning fire heated up deep in my soul as I stared the 5' 7 boy that smirked at me and kept walking with the other jocks. Luckily all of my school supplies were in still in my back pack and they didn't spill out.

I popped in my ear buds and listened to some dubstep as I walked in uninjured but still angry at them. Luke hugged me them went to his own class. I sighed and went to mine... history.
