chapter 5;A truce

The next Monday was hectic.
When Kassim arrived at school co incidentally Ericah and JB came.
JB parked his car at the lot whilst Ericah slighted from hers.
Kassim stood at the entrance waiting for the duo.Ericah was the first to get to his side.
"Hey there kassim"
"Hey Ericah how are you doing this morning "
"I'm good what about you"
"Same here'
Just as they were done with the pleasantries JB walks over to their side.
"What are you two dimwits talking about'
"You know you don't have to be rude all that time considering what we just saw on Saturday 'Ericah tells him
"Shhh he tells her looking around to see if someone was watching them.
Mr.Allen told us to promise not to tell anybody and that's what we are doing so we will just pretend as if nothing happened so just stay away from me and don't talk to me"
He leaves them there after his statement and walks into the school.
"Well his right tho Kassim says we just have to pretend as if nothing happened "
They walked in to class and ironically the first class they had was English class.
During the whole period Mr.Allen wasn't even focusing on them.
Ericah was still thinking about what she saw that Saturday.
Kassim was still thinking about how he could beat JB and become the captain.
And JB was .. well I don't think you want to know what he was thinking.
And finally the period ended.
"You may leave to your next class and see you later."Mr.Allen says.He goes over to sit in his chair.
As he sits down a call comes in.
"Hello Allen here" he says to the person at the other end of the line
"Oh yes babe I was just going to call you after school"
Ericah walks over to his table. Kassim sees her going there and he also joins.
Ericah what are you doing here.
She was about to answer when Mark wails out.
"Are you serious babe.it can't just be over ,I still love you he says.
Babe I still love hello babe are you there."
Is everything okay Mr.Allen Ericah asks.
"My girlfriend just broke up with me so No" he tells her.
"Well sorry for that "she consoles him.
Kassim just stands there watching them
"What can I do for you Mrs.Amell and Mr.Bryant." he asks
"Well Mr.Allen its about Saturday"Eriach says
"Look Mrs.Amell what you saw Saturday is very confidential and right now am not in the mood to talk about work so can you just go to your next class."he tells them.
They both walked out of the class Dissapionted but not surprised.
I will meet you at lunch she tells him and after practice today.
"You are having practice today he asks her.
"Yeah we have gotten a new coach so the cheerleading team is back and am going to stand in for captain.

Well good luck he tells her.
Thanks she says smiling.see you later
The two went their separate ways Kassim to History class and Ericah to literature class.
Mr.Allen was in the teachers lounge still moping about Barbara his now ex girl friend.
Just then someone walks in.
She wasn't that tall and not that short.
Her eyes were blue like that of the ocean at night and she had a dark a little dark spot beside her chin that disappeared when she smiled.Her hair was short which revealed the outline of her neck.
"Hi is this the teachers lounge" she asks Mark.He was still engrossed in her beauty that he forgot the question.
"Hi she asks again
"Eerm yes yes this is the eerh what was the question again he asks confused.
"She smiled revealing a light dimple.
I asked if this was the teachers lounge.
"Oh yes this is the teachers lounge.
I am Mark Allen but you can just call me Mark, I am the English teacher he says extending his hand.
"Am Lois Yacks but you can just call me Lois,am the new cheerleading coach she says also extending her hands for a hand shake."Wow her palm is soft" he thinks."Well you are welcome to Caster high he says"
"Thank you"
They both sit down and struck up a conversation.

" I am quite new to he tells her,just started here a week ago"
"Is that so she say.where did you transfer from.
"Havard he tells her"
"Wow you taught at Harvard she asks looking surprised.
"Yeah studied there and taught there"
"Oh that's nice,So when I came here you looked a bit sad,do you mind telling me what it was about.
He was just about to talk when the siren rang.
"Errrmm you know what why don't we do this another time I have a class right now"
He picked his bag and was about to leave."hey Lois it was nice meeting you and hope I will see you around" and he left.
At history class Kassim couldn't concentrate on the lesson.he was lost in thought and he was just hoping for the siren to ring and luckily it did.
Kassim met Ericah in front of the dinning hall just as he was about to enter.She was standing with Lucy and Hope.They both left when he came there.'see you at practice" she  shouted as they left
"Hey have you seen any of those two mascots "Ericah asked walking in with him.
They sat on an empty table.
"Speaking of the devil look who just entered he said pointing to them"
They came to sit beside them.
"Hey guys"Ferdinand greeted.
"Hey there"Ericah responded.
JB entered the hall with the basketball team,Ericah called out to him join them but he ignored them.
'Well if he is not coming we will have to continue without him" she said biting into an Apple.
"So what's this meeting about"Kassim asked.
"I don't care about what we saw on Saturday and I know we are not supposed to talk about it but guys we just discovered that there is a secret government organization in out there and you are just telling me to sleep on it" Ericah said.
