It was a peaceful afternoon, and I'm with Reese and Carissa strolling around Urdaneta, buying kinds of stuff and books in a newly opened bookstore. Hindi ko kasama si Athena dahil mukhang may ibang appointment siya.
Nakabili ako ng mga hidden treasured books na nakalagay sa 50 deals, technique kasi do'n is halukayin mo yung stand until the farthest you can go. Sometimes the treasured book is placed sa pinakailalim.
I bought different poetry books, nakahanap din ako ng ilang mga Harry Potter Series. After that, we ate in a local food stand outside the mall.
It was almost 5 in the afternoon when we part ways. Since nadaanan ko yung isang magandang open view ng sunset, I remain at that exact spot. Binuklat ko ang libro ng poetry na nabasa ko while waiting and killing time. It was very calming, and the breeze is not that hot for my bare skin.
This day was for me, for my happiness. Truth and reality will soon follow my mind to be known and discover. May naglalako na nakabike ng gulaman kaya napag-isipan kong bumili. Here in the Philippines ang unique talaga ng mga food-finds.
Ang ganda at gaan sa pakiramdam ng araw, sana hindi ito matapos. Nagsimula na akong maglakad pauwi, when I suddenly felt my head go dizzy and my knees are trembling, this is a bad idea. Hindi ko na kaya napahawak ako sa isang road sign to strengthen me and remain to stand, but it was too late. Everything went black, and it's suffocating; I can't breathe.
Nararamdaman ko ang kakaibang simoy ng hangin, unti-unti kong minulat ang mata ko hindi ko alam gaano katagal akong nakapikit but then alam ko gabi na. I'm inside an unfamiliar house, every single corner of it is very foreign for me, nasaan ako?
Then a woman with a covered face suddenly appears in front of me. "Hi, Yvery! Alam kong naguguluhan ka pa —", "Ilabas n'yo ko dito sino ka?" I spat. "I'm direct Agent Symphony Alerquez, the personal assistant of your mother." she stated, "See this men's, we are all workers of your parent. Sadly they died in an accident." I truly shocked by everything, ano 'to?
I have parents, but they died?... Why?
"Ms. Yvery, we are instructed by your parents ever since you are shown in this world." another woman appeared, "Politics, that is your memoir." which dropped the bomb.
I am a child of the most legitimate senators of the country, but then what is the mystery?
"Ngayon? Anong mangyayari sa akin? Papatayin n'yo ba ako?" pagmamatigas ko sa mga ito, "No.., Yvery kami ang kakampi rito. Kaya wag mo kaming ituring na kaaway." Ms. Alerquez sound offended in my sudden burst out, baket ano ba dapat? Hindi ba dapat?
"We just want to warn you about how dirty the world is and how they can manipulate power for vengeance." the other Miss stated. "By the way, I'm Sofia Fernando."
A-frame caught my attention, and it was a man in a highly ash-gray suit and a woman dressed finely in her champagne dress. In between, they are a girl who is smiling very sincerely. It was me.
"This is Mrs. Adeilyna G. Joaquin and Mr. Elquizar D. Joaquin. Your mother came from the families of Gerardo, which is famous in the whole city for their cuisines." then Sofia handed me several albums of my baby pictures and a big album that shows the history of what my parent really is.
I sneak one of the albums in my shoulder bag, "Yvery, remember not to trust every single person here. Your identity is not yet revealed, but the truth is someone or a big group of people is finding your parents and their lost kid."
Hinatid ako ng isa sa mga lalaking ito, Lola is peacefully sleeping in her room. Andaming nangyari, the secret is out to myself, and I can't sink everything in my mind. Who are they?
