I sighed and moved behind the bar as Joker sat down. After Alpha had given me the silent order to take him inside, he hadn't spoken a word.

I'm sure seeing your ex-wife being executed right in front of you would be traumatizing for anyone.

Without a word I handed him a beer and waited for him to take a sip before I started to speak.

"I'm sure you're not okay, but do you want to talk about it?" I asked.

He shook his head slowly and I sighed. I moved out from behind the bar and sat down on the stool beside him. Not once did he look at me, even when I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Joker, you have a whole club willing to back you up. You're our brother, we would drop anything to help you. I don't know exactly what you're feeling right now but I do know that no one blames you for these feelings. If you need anyone to talk to so you can get everything off of your chest, you can go to anyone in the club. You know that right?" I asked.

He nodded. I sighed and moved to get him his favorite dish, cheeseburgers with Mac and cheese. I knew that this was his favorite, especially when he was upset because he used to get it all the time, and started getting it again when Raine was first taken in.

While I was waiting for it to cook, I heard the others start to pile back inside. Their loud talking and laughter traveled to me quickly, unaware of the inward battle Joker was going through. I knew that they were going to try to take his mind off of it, how they were going to do that probably involved drinking the night away but that was besides the point.

Quickly, I finished up his food and brought it out to him. The only reaction I received was a small smile as he pulled the plate closer to him. Good enough for me.

I turned back around and started serving the other guys as well, getting them drinks and food whenever they requested anything. Truly, working behind the bar was supposed to be a job for one of the prospects, but during the time before I was patched in when I was working the bar I became attached. Being extremely picky about how things are run did not really work out well once someone else had tried to do it, so I just ended up sticking with the job.

Personally, I loved it. I was able to talk with basically everyone every single day, and I'm able to joke around and make others smile whenever they are feeling down. However sometimes when you are trying to avoid someone it is hard since you are constantly having to interact with people.

Meaning you have to interact with someone you don't want to.

I sighed and slid a beer over to Ripper as he and Lilly sat down at the bar.

"You want anything to eat little lady?" I chuckled, amused at her glare.

"I am not little," she pouted. Both Ripper and I chuckled, causing her to pout even further.

Ripper kissed her cheek and whispered something in her ear, igniting a blush across her cheeks. I rolled my eyes and served a few other people, leaving them to be the cute couple of the club for now.

When Lilly first entered the club everyone was shocked at how well Ripper talked with her. At first we all thought that he was going to try to use her or something, but the more we saw them interact the more we realized that they actually had genuine feelings for each other.

And now Alpha has Scarlett to keep him at bay as well.

He has Scarlett to be the person he goes to at the end of the day who will calm him down and help him think through his actions. He has her to call him out on his bullshit and to make sure he doesn't do anything that he would regret. Even though it's early on in their relationship I could already see the love blossoming between the two.
