It's been a while since I finished Julie Bane. I thought that would be my last book for Sadie Bane, but a few months ago someone suggested I write this book. If you're out there, you know who you are, and thank you for your help!
I've been planning this out for a bit and I think it's finally time to get the show on the road, so here it is, Murders Of The Past.
A few things I recommend taking note of:
*Sadie is alive
*Our main characters are now in their 20's
*There will be some scenes revealed from when Sadie was hiding, (supposedly dead)
*I'm doing my best with this
*And again, I repeat, Sadie is alive, and I don't plan on killing her off this time- sorry about that other time...
Alright, that's all for now. Thanks for reading this and I hope you enjoy this one!
Also, how's the cover? Should I change it?
Summary
They thought it was over-the running, the hiding, the fighting. Until one day, they get a letter from an unknown person, and everything turns upside down. Three years ago, the Bane's were reunited, celebrating marriages, building their own families; their lives free of worries. Finally, they were at peace. Nothing could possibly go wrong. They were going to get a happy ending, or so they thought. Apparently, the past always comes back to haunt you.
___
"What. Do. You. Want." I hiss into my phone. He's silent for a moment, which only increases my distress. Finally, he spoke. "Revenge." I roll my eyes.
"Everyone wants revenge on me. What did I do to you? Huh? Did I hurt your feelings? Kill your ego? Cut you off in- "
"You ruined my life," he cuts me off. "And I'm going to do whatever it takes to make you suffer the way I did."
___
Unexpectedly being reeled back into the gang life, Sadie must go back to her old ways if she's going to survive this war. A war like no other, with too many lives at stake, and Sadie unprepared. There's no running or hiding this time. Will the Bane's ever get a happy ending?
